The People's Hero Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 Fearing a third BIG defeat at the hands of his former (and favourite club) SG has got himself sacked by simulating a sex act in an infant school (allegedly)
kingfox Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 Sky Sports News â€@SkySportsNews Simon Grayson has been sacked by Huddersfield Town. More on #SSN Will this be a good thing or bad thing from our perspective, I hope it's good. They started well, but have gone down hill fast.
Kitchandro Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 I'm not really sure where clubs like Huddersfield think they should be. I couldn't see them getting relegated.
k3ith59 Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 Just wondered if jermaine beckfords lack of goals and effort has ironically done for one of our former legends.
The People's Hero Posted 24 January 2013 Author Posted 24 January 2013 I like Grayson, but I think a re-appraisal of his managerial abilities is probably required. You'd probably need to see what the Huddersfield fans are saying.
indierich06 Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 Well, if he will sign shit players on massive wages, like Danns and Beckford, he'll ultimately pay the price!
StanSP Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 Not sure on this. Not as surprising as other sackings in this league, but I think he should have been given a better chance to turn them around. Been on a poor run recently (nothing drastic), but what did they expect - top 6 already? They definitely weren't or aren't going down. Far worse teams in this league.
cc_star Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 Hate playing a club that has a sting in their tail when something like this happens. As if the thrashing wasn't motivation enough
Guest Col city fan Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 I'm not surprised and wondered if it was coming. Their results of late have been shite. Bit of a blow for us as it could kick start their players to be playing for their places on Saturday.
k3ith59 Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 and still he will roll up on payday without a thought for anyone but jb. And should we hit the promised land would he be in for a nice bonus. would surprise me if he wasnt
k3ith59 Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 tbf. when he signed i was excited for us. have defended him to friends. but his whole attitude on the pitch was frustrating and disheartening
Happy Fox Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 Seems odd to me surely Huddersfield's ambition is survival under Grayson they would of achieved that.

And should we hit the promised land would he be in for a nice bonus. would surprise me if he wasnt I have no idea whether he would or wouldn't. I wouldn't be at all surprised though if his contract contains a promotion bonus. Anyway, the thread ain't about JB. I think it's a shame for Grayson.. Decent bloke
kingfox Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 Keep sending Danns out on loan to clubs. Was at Bristol City, then their manager gets sacked, now at Huddersfield their manager gets sacked. Recall him, and loan him to Cardiff.

Happy Fox Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 Apparently Nigel Adkins is expected to take over that is some coup for Huddersfield town.
Super_horns Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 No great surprise. They way they just folded after a decent 1st half against us last week would alarm any watching fan or director. The game went from a close typical championship match to one of the most one sided halves of football ever.
k3ith59 Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 loving that theory. think jose has put a word in about his availability to SAF! ; )
kingfox Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 Been on the betting pages, Huddersfield betting not up yet. However Grayson has now been installed as the favourite for the Blackpool job, therefore that would mean a return.
Dan Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 Nothing new, modern football strikes again. One bad run and you're out. Pathetic.
The People's Hero Posted 24 January 2013 Author Posted 24 January 2013 If they do have Adkins lined up then fair play!
Happy Fox Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 They wouldn't of sacked him if they didn't have a replacement lined up Nigel Adkins is expected to be the new Huddersfield manager.
