Danizen Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 What a ****ing tool Nathan Dyer is. Scores a goal and before the ball's even settled he turns his shirt around for the cameras.
ScouseFox Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Wait, are you saying someone is a tool for celebrating scoring a goal at Wembley in a cup final?
The Year Of The Fox Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 No national anthem = disgraceful. One of many little things killing the game
Guest Bilo Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Swansea are a superb footballing side, delight to watch their passing and movement. They'll smash Bradford today, fairy tale over I'm afraid.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 No national anthem = disgraceful. One of many little things killing the game Why should there be a national anthem in the final? What's so disgraceful about it? I find it pointless to have it in finals, only should be England matches where our players ARE English.
Kitchandro Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Jim Hanson - they need to take that muppet off.
Guest Bilo Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 That's it pretty much sorted. I don't have a problem with there being no national anthem in finals to be honest. If we were to make the play-off final; we'd be there with a Danish keeper, Belgian left-back, an American centre-half, French winger and a New Zealander up front. Not to mention Thai owners. Keep it to England games.

I wonder when the twats in suits will do away with Abide With Me as well?
Danizen Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Wait, are you saying someone is a tool for celebrating scoring a goal at Wembley in a cup final? No. He's a tool for turning his shirt around so his name is on the pictures. It should be about the team.

I wonder when the twats in suits will do away with Abide With Me as well? I sincerely hope not. I'd personally like the crowd to sing it rather than pay a local choir or X Factor reject, but Abide With Me is part of the tradition. The thing is that GSTQ is considered English, so Welsh teams are likely to boo it. Annoying but true. I personally am more offended by seeing players mumble through it, refuse to sing and seeing the crowd taking pictures rather than sing the anthem. In fairness as well, I'd be going to Wembley to support Leicester not England. I'd sooner see 40,000 singing Leicester songs all afternoon at Wembley than GSTQ.

I know what you mean, but by that theory the twats will do away with Abide With Me because not everyone on the pitch is Christian! I know the Welsh would boo it, I'd rather them do that or have their own anthem too than not at all. Both are representing their countries and both are representing an English competition. Either way, eradicating it is not the answer IMO.
Kitchandro Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 The atmosphere is so poor. Thousands of people aren't even in their seats for the start of the second half. I know it's only Bradford but you'd think the fans would go more mental than that for a goal in the cup final.

Abide With Me seems pretty much untouchable, touch wood.

Trust me it's as I've always said, it'd be shit if we got there. It's nothing like how it should be. I could write an essay and their **** ups concerning Wembley. Club Wembley, the seats next to the dug outs, the stewarding, think Leeds but twice as bad.
Mark Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Can't understand why they're playing 442 against a team with 5 in midfield who pass the ball for fun, never going to work on a pitch that big

Kitchandro Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 I wish the commentators would stop going on about how it's 'an occassion to savour' no matter the result. As if any of them are enjoying getting spanked 3-0. I think they'll remember the previous rounds with far more fondness.
Guest Bilo Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Watching your team get absolutely beasted in a final would be the pits.
Kitchandro Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 What the fvck is Alan Smith talking about? As if that isn't/shouldn't be a sending off. He's highly thought of at our club but he's a shit pundit.
