Jimothy Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Dyer and De Guzman EDIT: I'm laughing but De Guzman came across as a bit of a **** there. Why would you not let your mate take the chance to complete a hat-trick in a final? What an absolute bastard!
Guest Bilo Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Not a red imo Have you ever agreed with a referee?
Fox92 Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Can't believe Dyer isn't having it. Imagine if he misses
The Year Of The Fox Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 I think they did play God Save the Queen and Land of My Fathers when Cardiff made the FA Cup final a few years back. Abide With Me seems pretty much untouchable, touch wood. Possibly so, though they didnt with Cardiff Liverpool last year. What a ****ing tool Nathan Dyer is. Scores a goal and before the ball's even settled he turns his shirt around for the cameras. Completely disagreed with you til I saw this penalty farce with dyer now. No need to have sent the keeper off
Guest Bilo Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 I said they'd get beasted, let's hope it doesn't become embarrassing.
Danizen Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 "They've now got two hands on the trophy." I'm sure Swansea were shitting themselves at 3-0...
Kitchandro Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Possibly so, though they didnt with Cardiff Liverpool last year. Completely disagreed with you til I saw this penalty farce with dyer now. No need to have sent the keeper off Well there is, because that's the rules and he would have scored otherwise. Why is that so many people feel sorry for players who are cynically hacking people when they're about to score?
Yastafox Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 What a bell de Guzman! Was Dyers peno all day! The mans on a hat trick!!!
Lamby Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 What a surprise. Duke thought he was gonna shoot so went down to save it, the foot there is the natural position for a keeper when going down to save
FoxyPV Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 How did Bradford beat TWO PL teams? This is men v boys.
Kitchandro Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 What a bell de Guzman! Was Dyers peno all day! The mans on a hat trick!!! You could also say he's already had 2 and should share the love out Duke thought he was gonna shoot so went down to save it, the foot there is the natural position for a keeper when going down to save So? He fouled him, he denied a goalscoring opportunity.
Fox92 Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Michu is so technically gifted. The way he hits a ball without backlift is unreal.
Lamby Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 So? He fouled him, he denied a goalscoring opportunity. Yellow at the most, I've seen worse get nothing given
Swarles Barkley Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 So what if dyer was on a hattrick. If i was designated penalty taker with a chance to score at wembley i wouldnt give away that chance. Its a team game
Jimothy Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 How did Bradford beat TWO PL teams? This is men v boys. Three Premier League teams. They beat Wigan, Arsenal and Villa.
martyn Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 No problem with De Guzman for having that penalty, he was denied a certain goal by Matt Duke scything him down. Goals at Wembley don't come very often, he had as much right to it as Dyer. Definite red as well, don't care if it's 3-0 and 'poor old Bradford'. If the pen is missed, Bradford could easily go up the other end, make it 3-1 and change the course of the game. Of course that wouldn't have happened, but the red card was completely correct.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Well there is, because that's the rules and he would have scored otherwise. Why is that so many people feel sorry for players who are cynically hacking people when they're about to score? The games already won. You usually hear about refs using their discretion
Fox92 Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Yellow at the most, I've seen worse get nothing given Rules are rules, but I agree. Great day for the club, fans and the player(s), the game is over/won at 3-0 but Bradford now have 10 men.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 How did Bradford beat TWO PL teams? This is men v boys. 3. They've beaten more Premiership teams than QPR this season. Villa and arsenal are fragile at the back and don't have Ashley Williams to deal with their aerial threat
Fox in the North Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Feel sorry for Bradford, it probably won't happen for while now. Fair play to Swansea, they've been thoroughly professional and have not let Bradford in this game at all.
Mark Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 You could also say he's already had 2 and should share the love out So? He fouled him, he denied a goalscoring opportunity. And they're getting the opportunity again, no need to be punished twice surely.
Kitchandro Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 The games already won. You usually hear about refs using their discretion No you don't, you hear about refs doing their job or not doing their job. The ref did his job in that instance. And they're getting the opportunity again, no need to be punished twice surely. Yes there is, he could miss the penalty. Penalties are missed a lot. He was much less likely to miss from a yard out and no goalkeeper.
Kitchandro Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Yellow at the most, I've seen worse get nothing given I can't believe what I'm reading on this thread. That was the most obvious red card I've ever seen. Had it been Man Utd or Chelsea instead of Bradford and the game was in the balance, nobody would think he should stay on the pitch.
