League Cup Final

If we won a major trophy again, the last place you'd see me is LTLF.

You probably wouldn't even see me on here for a couple of days.

I must say though, you've always seemed to have a preference for Cardiff over Swansea. Apologies if I've got the wrong end of t'stick.

It probably comes across that way because Cardiff get a lot more stick on here, most of our fans don't have a problem with Swansea and we've not really played them many times over the last few years comparatively.

Cardiff have contributed more to the national side over the last decade but Swansea are an infinitely more likeable club and the closest thing I'd ever have to a home-town club had I not been brought up a Leicester fan.

I should clarify, though, I am strictly a Leicester fan and nothing else. I don't believe in second teams and if I did I probably have more affection for Hibs and BVB than I do either Welsh club.

Congratulations to Bradford for making it to the final. It was a tough ask and yes, they crumbled against Swansea.

But they can hold their heads up high.

After the Post-Premier League turmoil and subsequent relegations, they've earned their cup money and I do hope they invest well and wisely.

Think i read somewhere swansea are 'moaning' because they will have to have the flag of st george on their shirts in europe next year cos they representing the english f.a

you cant have your cake and eat it!!!!!

What a load of horse shit.

No English club representing the English F.A has had to have the English National flag on their shirts.

It won't be on shirts I don't think, but pretty sure that next to their name on every draw, fixture, team sheet etc will be the flag of St George. And presumably they will all say Swansea City (Eng).

Quite gutted for Duke getting sent off, been sublime in the previous rounds and deserves to have better memories of the final!

Some are saying the ref should have used "common sense" but he has to apply the laws regardless of the situation.

Swansea were class from the start not letting Bradford gaining a foothold in the game at all unlike Villa/Arsenal for example.

Nice to see somebody outside the top 4/5 teams win a major trophy and they had to beat some higher ranked sides themselves along the way.

Just proves mid-table and below sides can combine cup and league if they want to....

We proved that years ago! :P

...Then Peter Taylor came along...

I like Swansea. Good footballing side, a nice manager and a seemingly well ran club. Plus from memory Swansea have the fittest birds I've ever seen in Wales!

I'm not keen on the Swansea- Cork ferry though!

Swansea fans would have no right to complain about this.

Barcelona compete under the Spanish flag when a number of their fans would sooner see them compete under a Catalan one, Bilbao don't get to compete under a Basque flag and Monaco had to compete under a French flag in spite of Monaco being a sovereign, independent state.

A good thing none of the fans seem to be bothered by it, they're looking forward to a European tour too much. Rightly so too.
