Corky Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Swans were ridiculously professional, never seen such a one-sided cup final.
Leicesterpool Posted 24 February 2013 Author Posted 24 February 2013 Even though nothing was expected from Bradford i still think it was an humiliation for them purely because they just had one shot at goal all game!, Swansea really looked strong! Put them on a pitch against Real Madrid right now and it would be a really tight game. Fantastic support from the Bradford fans it'll be a long journey home for them
Jimothy Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Didn't know that mate, thanks for pointing it out. It's great that you aren't making any assumptions about what will happen to De Guzman. He'll never get a long injury, he'll definitely be in a Netherlands side to play at Wembley, he's guaranteed to get a move to a big English club who makes regular cup finals. Absolute rubbish, in that moment, after he's been taken down when ready to slot in from a yard out, and, as the designated penalty taker, he has every right to take that penalty. He's not thinking that years down the line, he'll get more chances to score at Wembley. 2nd goal was clearly an o.g. but lets only see what we want to. Wouldn't want to give an o.g. to the poor Bradford player on their big day. I'm not assuming anything about De Guzman, I'm merely pointing out there is a chance the opportunity will arise again, and it did within the 90 minutes today. And Dyers opportunity will never come again. He may never play for the Netherlands again, he may never get a big move, but it's a hell of a lot more likely than Nathan Dyer being a position to have netted a hat-trick in a major final.

Whilst they play some decent stuff, they've only won 3 in the last 10 and they're hardly world beaters.
Leicesterpool Posted 24 February 2013 Author Posted 24 February 2013 Can't believe the national anthem wasn't played "God save our queen" is the British national anthem! so why would it offend the welsh! I don't know why England sing (before an England game) "God Save Our Queen" as the national anthem because that isn't England's anthem its the british anthem, time the fa realised! either "Land Of Hope and glory or Jerusalem" should be played.
Corky Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 It could've been you at Wembley today Leicesterpool. If only you supported Bradford instead.
HEGGSY Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Playing shitty pop music when Swansea lifted the trophy.... lol lol
Soar Fox Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 What the fvck is that celebration music. Fvcking Pitbull.
martyn Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Well, that song does contain some Spanish to satisfy the Swansea armada, and also references Wembley by name, but it's hardly "We are the champions".
Kitchandro Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Playing shitty pop music when Swansea lifted the trophy.... lol lol Cup finals just aren't what they used to be. are they? Embarrassing.
Finnegan Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Cup finals just aren't what they used to be. are they? Embarrassing. Yeah I bet that's the top of the Swansea / Bradford fans' thoughts at the moment.
I am Rod Hull Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Good to see another name on the cup. Congratulations to Swansea and "bravo" Bradford.
Leicesterpool Posted 24 February 2013 Author Posted 24 February 2013 It could've been you at Wembley today Leicesterpool. I know, even with Villa having a crap season I think it would have been a much tighter final. By the way its about time Nathan Dyer got an England Call up

Carl the Llama Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 I used to post on the Cardiff forum, it's so chock of Neanderthals that now I just read it every now and then for pure entertainment value. The bitter ****** didn't disappoint today.

The bitter ****** didn't disappoint today. If, God forbid, Forest won the league cup and the first thing some muppet did was come on to Foxes Talk to gloat would we really react any differently? Any Jack whose reaction to the biggest bit of silverware in the clubs' history is to go straight on to a Cardiff City website and troll needs to have serious words with themselves and that's coming from someone with a heavy West Wales bias.

If we won a major trophy again, the last place you'd see me is LTLF. You probably wouldn't even see me on here for a couple of days. I must say though, you've always seemed to have a preference for Cardiff over Swansea. Apologies if I've got the wrong end of t'stick.

I like to think most of us would have enough of a grip on reality to not start spouting a load of bollocks about a league victory against Wolves being a more important result. To make matters worse this is the same lot who were giving it the Billy big bollocks when they got to the final of the very same cup last year. Embarrassing bunch of cretins on a par with Bristol & Millwall's fanbases.
broughtonblue Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Think i read somewhere swansea are 'moaning' because they will have to have the flag of st george on their shirts in europe next year cos they representing the english f.a you cant have your cake and eat it!!!!!

broughtonblue Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Do they? New one on me. im sure i heard/read it somewhere, just putting it out here incase anyone else has any knowledge of it
Carl the Llama Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 im sure i heard/read it somewhere, just putting it out here incase anyone else has any knowledge of it Wherever you heard it from is an unreliable source to put it politely. The only thing they'll have to add to their shirt is the Europa league badge and the respect badge.
acooling08 Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 For the good of England Bradford must win! Still can't understand why it isn't on bbc one? Is it because there's none of the usual top four not involved in the final.
