Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 William Hill odds here for the matches. The only match with no certainty behind it in their opinion is the battle royal which Alexander Rusev is favourite for! At 13/8 http://sports.williamhill.com/bet/en-gb/betting/t/11046/WWE.html Undertaker 1/66
CKB Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 Question, what's everyone's favourite WM match of all time? I was about to jump in and say HBK v Bret Hart in the Iron Man match but it has to be Taker v HBK at WM25. Austin vs Bret - Mania 13 is my all time fav
CKB Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Austin WILL be at Mania 30! = a reason for me now to watch....
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Rumours that Punk will return. Cant see it personally but the pop he would get would be huge
CKB Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Rumours that Punk will return. Cant see it personally but the pop he would get would be huge I'd be shocked if he returned, I personally think he won't ever return and if he does it won't be anytime soon
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Austin thinks Punk will return thats where the rumours have basically started. Would be pretty epic but cannot see it
CKB Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Austin thinks Punk will return thats where the rumours have basically started. Would be pretty epic but cannot see it Yeah I read about that and it would be great being a big Punk fan myself but just can't see any return this soon... But stranger things have happened in the WWE!
Jace Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Really would have thought this year would have been the year we could have had Austin vs Punk if it was ever going to happen
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Thoughts on tonight? hoping for a good show, going to watch it in the morning when ive woken up!
Jace Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Watching it after work tomorrow with some mates I go and watch Raw and Smackdown with, really wasn't looking forward to it at all as really gone off fit this last year but apparently the backstage rumours are good
The Horse's Mouth Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 this is hilarious, I hope Batista wins the belt now
Mark_w Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 The Streak... Perhaps the dumbest thing they've ever done. Completely wasted on Brock Lesnar.
LCFC1996 Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 Perhaps the dumbest thing they've ever done. Completely wasted on Brock Lesnar.I thought that too but at the end of the day I'm sure it would have been Taker who decided to end the streak and whoever did end the streak would be massivly overshadowed by the fact the streak actually ended so I'm not too fussed Brock was the one.At times during the match it was almost sad to see Undertaker working at that capacity.

At times during the match it was almost sad to see Undertaker working at that capacity. I haven't watched wrestling in a long, long time (I'm up because of insomnia rather than Wrestlemania). I think it absolutely makes sense for them to end it, but I don't think the person ending the streak would have been overshadowed, if they gave it to a 18-26 year old on the cusp of the Main Event then they've got a young guy over for years, Lesnar is already popular and he's probably only got 5 years in him. Doing it like this is just stupid.

Think it should have been ended but surprised it happened tbh.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 Errm. Wow. Well. I guess you can say I witnessed history...
leftbackinthechangingroom Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 Wow just wow managed some sleep but still in shock at the end of the streak. Had a friend in the crowd and he told me that when it happened it completely deflated the crowd and apparently people were leaving the stadium. It had to end at some point, just wish it wasn't Lesnar as he is just gonna leave again either after raw tonight or after extreme rules. Would of rather them give it to someone on their way up like reigns. Would of even been ok with them giving it to kane. But was a fantastic show to be fair best mania for a long time
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 Shocked Taker lost really am. You could have got 40/1 on Lesnar winning i saw. If they were going to end it maybe it means his retirement now. Otherwise giving it to an upcoming star would have been better for Orton at WM 21. Cant wait for Raw now
Ross-Kemp Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 'Taker has wanted Brock to beat the streak for about 4 years now. I think this May have been his last match, he's an old school guy and the rule was you go out on your back in the middle of the ring. Which is what happened, and let's face it, Brock is the only believable person that could have done it anyway.

Which is what happened, and let's face it, Brock is the only believable person that could have done it anyway. Pretty much what I was going to say. For someone to break the streak it had to be someone believable, and seeing as HHH, HBK, Orton and Batista have all been Taker's victims in the past, it wasn't going to be any of them. Only left two people possible who you could see ending the streak, Cena or Lesnar, have to be the big physical wrestlers, hence why Punk didn't. Cena was never going to end the streak, you can't have the main face of the company ending the greatest WrestleMania achievement so that left Brock, the beast, the man who you can believe to throw Taker round a ring. Will agree with a post above, it was really sad watching Taker wrestle tonight, his body has gone, emotional watching. Maybe it's for the best now. More than likely see him retire on Raw tonight now. Something must of gone wrong with timings again to have only given The Shield that short amount of time, especially when the Divas garbage got longer. Really enjoyed the Bray Wyatt Cena match. The battle royal was utterly ridiculous, but that was expected. So happy for Daniel Bryan, loved how much it meant to him, he has proper benefitted from Punk leaving. Highlight of the night though was the first 20 minutes, Hogan, Stone Cold and The Rock all in the ring to start the show! I loved it. Only thing missing was 3MB getting involved and the three Legends clearing them out.
kingfox Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 Really enjoyed this years Wrestlemania. Undertaker was going to lose sometime, but the crowds reaction was awesome. So glad Daniel Bryan won, it made up for Takers loss. Cesaro winning the Battle Royal was great as well, one of my fave superstars at the minute, Shield match could of gone on for a bit longer, but they were impressive. Only downside Cena beating Bray Wyatt.
