Fox92 Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Ditto, pace to scare any team, that is probably the piece of selection tonight I'm most satisfied with. Shame that he doesn't use it and puts his head down.
Fox92 Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Can we get Bruma back too? You mean the same Brumo who plays in the Bundesliga?
fleckneymike Posted 12 March 2013 Author Posted 12 March 2013 This could be one of them classic threads in a few hours time.... Nothing would make me happier.
cc_star Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 So Pearson says the players are low in confidence ...and his answer is to start with a player that's extremely low in confidence... Wonder why, when there's twats like the OP, even before a ball has been kicked. Not that there's any room to manoeuvre, but Wellens is dreadful for the level we need to be at tonight as part of a midfield duo, but as a 3... with him not having to come back too much, hopefully freeing him up to push into the oppo box, it could work. It's not like we've got the funds to get Fat Jono on loan is it
Lambert09 Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Ritchie is not the solution long term but I have a feeling he is just what we need in there tonight. Wouldn't be surprised if he proves a few people wrong
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 If this doesn't work I fear for NP. Last desparate throw of the dice???
fleckneymike Posted 12 March 2013 Author Posted 12 March 2013 Ritchie is not the solution long term but I have a feeling he is just what we need in there tonight. Wouldn't be surprised if he proves a few people wrong Yeah but which people? Those who think he's slow, cumbersome and generally shit or those who still think has has something to offer?
dannythefox Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Not happy about Wellens it just proves how shit the squad is!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Glad Dyer is back in the team, had no pace lately in the team
Karljohn Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Not happy about Wellens it just proves how shit the squad is! Yes, offers no more than a certain midfield player out in loan. lining up 433 be interesting that's for sure. .
MikeyT Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Can we not just support the lads that are on the pitch wearing a Leicester shirt. I understand everyone has their own ideas of who should and shouldn't play, but can we not just get behind the lads instead of picking fault at every little thing!

I'm glad Lloyd Dyer is back in. I agree ...... it's the only highlight of the team selection for me - dyer and schlupp together again.

To be honest I doubt they can hear us typing
I blame Wellens Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 To be honest I doubt they can hear us typing I will always blame Wellens!
5waller5 Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 I will always blame Wellens! And you will always be right!!!!
Fox92 Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 I will always blame Wellens! And you will always be right!!!! And I will always be bored of that 'joke'. You shouldn't blame Wellens, or any player. I love Nige, but at the end of the day, he is the manager. He takes the blame, as he knows.

Kitchandro Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Apart from against Leeds when he also blamed some clowns. Yes I believe his exact words were 'those clowns in the crowd, they cost us 2 points'.
Fox92 Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Apart from against Leeds when he also blamed some clowns. He didn't exactly blame them. He just mentioned about fans being negative. Of course, we can do whatever we want because we are fans, but what's the point in turning up and being negative all the time?
Greatness_Since_1884 Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 As mentioned, good move to bring some experience into the middle. For a supposedly 'tactically stubborn' manager I think it's a good move to go to 4-3-3 away to Cardiff. Also Richie has played his best for us in a midfield 3 and his lack of legs won't be exposed in a 3.
CKB Posted 12 March 2013 Posted 12 March 2013 Don't surprise me one bit, when you have a bunch of players outta form i guess you have to get desperate... People calling for Knockaert, Marshall to start have you seen how poor they have been recently?? they needed to be dropped and with our lack of depth, Wellens was probably going to get a start... Yes people could say i'd rather play out of form players than Wellens but look where that has got us recently?

Well, collectively the players haven't given Cardiff, a side with obvious ability... much of a sniff. So, so far so good.

fleckneymike Posted 12 March 2013 Author Posted 12 March 2013 Un prompted my Cardiff City supporting mate, a Cardiff City season ticket holder texted me "Wellens is having a good game so far...for us" EDITED TO SAY He's just texted me after I accused them of being dirty gets (according to RL) "Honestly?! We were just saying how dirty you boys were- really cynical! You came into it last 10. Crowd turning. Take wellens off and you should pinch this"
