Fox in the North Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Peyton manning vs the legion of boom plus beast mode? Gooooooood Also did people see bowman's knee? Seriously painful stuff.
LCFC1996 Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Going for the Broncos in SB Bowman, wow, that had to hurt!
DJMadness29 Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Just got round to watching the trophy presentation etc from last night. Champ Bailey finally getting to a superbowl. Fingers crossed we can win it. Will anyone be watching it anywhere special? I'm going to an american smokehouse in chester where they're putting on a night for it. Can't wait. GO Broncos!!
Richard Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Peyton vs the Seahawks defense is going to be a tasty matchup. It they can put him under pressure and get a few sacks then I think the Seahawks have a good chance. However, Peyton's play-calling on scrimmage could harm a defense who aren't exactly renowned for clever plays
DJMadness29 Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 Did anyone hear Peytons comments on what 'Omaha' means??
Lamby Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 Did anyone hear Peytons comments on what 'Omaha' means?? He doesn't even have a clue
ollielcfc Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 I have a ticket for the Cowboys @ Jags game, on November 9th at Wembley going spare. Cost £52 from Ticketmaster but will let it go for £40. If anyone is interested, quote or pm me

ollielcfc Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 Why buy one then sell it? Instructed my girlfriend (clueless, non-NFL woman), to buy a ticket for the Dolphins @ Raiders game because my Dad supports the Dolphins and this would've been his birthday present. She bought tickets for the wrong match, and on a date that no-one i know can make - as it is my brother's birthday. Hence, I've decided to sell it on so at least somebody can use it. Block 518, Row 2, Seat 124.
goose2010 Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 I have tickets for the the cowboys match, first time I have been to see it in London, do people wear other teams jerseys or not? few people have said that they do and few said they dont. What would the people who have been before recommend?

What would the people who have been before recommend? They do wear other teams jerseys. It's like a big massive love fest basically. Tailgating is fun, although I will arrive early enough that I can actually get into the shop. I'm going to all 3 games
General Smuts Posted 21 January 2014 Author Posted 21 January 2014 Did anyone hear Peytons comments on what 'Omaha' means?? Why would he give that away? Surely that'd be of a tactical advantage going in to the biggest game of the season?
Bert Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 He doesn't even have a clue He does. He just doesn't want to give it away. I have tickets for the the cowboys match, first time I have been to see it in London, do people wear other teams jerseys or not? few people have said that they do and few said they dont. What would the people who have been before recommend? You will see every jersey there from the NFL.
Guest MattP Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 Omaha generally means you reverse the play at the line of scrimmage. It can mean anything in reality though of course. Been a great season this year, loved it, anyone going to Walkabout for the Superbowl? Went last year and was pretty good.
Jordan Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 Omaha generally means you reverse the play at the line of scrimmage. It can mean anything in reality though of course. Been a great season this year, loved it, anyone going to Walkabout for the Superbowl? Went last year and was pretty good. Different QBs/teams use it for different reasons. A few seasons ago, Chris Collinsworth figured out that Eli Manning was using "Omaha" to signal to the team that he was finished with his his pre-play calls and was going to start the snap count cadence--that's what most QBs do with "Omaha" or similar words. With Peyton, I think he sets up with two plays called, barks orders based on his read, and mostly uses "Omaha" as a way to signal to the team which call he is making.I think the Super Bowl will be an intriguing matchup, but I don't think the Seahawks defense will really be able to put Peyton under any serious pressure. I don't care how good the Seahawks' secondary is, if Peyton has time to throw the ball, he will find a hole in the coverage. I wish I could have gotten on the Broncos yesterday when the Vegas lines opened at Denver giving 1 point.
Bert Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 I'm regretting not taking the Broncos at 2/1 nowWhat would you has done with £3 if it won?
Chilwell_Fox Posted 24 January 2014 Posted 24 January 2014 I backed the Patriots at the beginning of the season at 9/1. Backing the Broncos now!
General Smuts Posted 2 February 2014 Author Posted 2 February 2014 Tonight's the night. Let's go Seahawks.
