Danno Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Beckford, Gallagher, Danns, Whitbread. Think Morgan might leave
Fox92 Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Personally, I'd get rid of Dyer, Whitbread, Gallagher, Futacs, Waghorn/Vardy/Beckford. Not sure in Danns although I don't rate him that much. I'd still keep Wellens, I believe he will become a good coach eventually. Why would Kasper want to leave? But if he does, we get Steele from Barnsley who is equally as good and Barnsley aren't exactly in a great financial position to turn a good deal down. Need two new full backs, left and right. Tough midfielder as our midfield is to weak. Another winger to allow Knockaert to play behind.
phillo Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Beckford wellens whitbread fuctas danns st ledger vardy
Johnny Cash Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Nugent is a fag and fags are bad for you. Get rid!
pazzerfox Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 I would keep Nugent and James but not a big fan of Marshall. I guess he has time to develop but I have not seen much in him that say's to me he will become anything better than average.
reynard Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 We can all have a wish list but it isn't that simple. I can't see Beckford leaving easily because of his wage demands and he has no place here whilst NP is manager. Sadly we have too many average players but moving them all on would be difficult as other teams have to want them if they are under contract or we have the expensive task of paying them off which is pretty much a waste of money. We need new centre halves as Whitbread has been disappointing and largely injury prone whilst SSL will never be anything more than dismal to average and I'd be happy to see both go. I'm not sure Vardy will make the grade and despite his efforts I'd sell if we could. Kane and Keane will return to their parent clubs. Wellens is past it really as is Gallagher and I'd happily see the back of both though Wellens has been a decent player for us. Danns seems to have no place here either. Somehow we need to reduce the wage bill and bring in better quality players. I think Kasper will leave if we don't get promoted. He may love it here but if a decent premier club came in for him he'd be a fool not to go as he has a possible international place to play for. It is all going to depend on who the manager is though whatever league we are in will need to see changes made. Our squad isn't good enough for the championship let alone the premiership.
lgfualol Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Vardy, Gallagher, Wellens, Futacs, whitbread Think Waghorn still has something to prove. Think Knockaert, Schlupp Kasper, Marshall may move. Would be a shame.
Spiritwalker Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Gallagher Wellens Dyer Vardy Futacs Beckford I'd keep hold of Danns, still think he has a role to play at the club. Yep we need someone to send to Huddersfield.
Jollie Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 James, Marshall and Nugent? No, no and no. spot on that man, i'd keep dyer too, use him off the bench and Konchesky, hes not been that bad?
lcfcsnow Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 It's not just about players, the formation has to be rethought. It's time to adapt to modern day football - 442 won't get us promotion unless we have a strong central midfield so I'm afraid Kings time is up, he is the weakest link in every away game the way we setup. It'll be another nothing season if we insist on playing this guy when he's having zero effect on games. I don't know whats happened to him but he's been in appalling form for the best part of two years now.
MPH Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 The reality is that it depends on wether we get promoted or not. Not just in terms of who wants to stay but who we can afford to release...
SmithyFox12 Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Don't see why Logan should be brought into this? It's not like he's done anything wrong or proven that he isn't good enough for the division?
TrentFox Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 In response to the OP's title for this thread, then yes. I think they should. I think it's probably for the best. Thanks for asking.
Buzzell Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Sack the lot and sign Brazilian wonder kids! Worked for me on Football Manager.
GingerrrFox Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Already gone: Beckford and Danns (they are never coming back) Will go: Futacs, Whitbread and Gallagher Should go: Konchesky and Dyer
Buzzell Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 spot on that man, i'd keep dyer too, use him off the bench and Konchesky, hes not been that bad? I never said to get rid of Konch. I'd keep hold of him. Still decent at this level but we could do with another LB for competition. As for Dyer, if we're looking to progress I think it's time we parted with him. I do love the guy but he can't play football at all. His pace is mainly his only strength. We need somebody else with more quality.
theessexfox Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Beckford Danns Gallagher Whitbread Futacs Vardy Possibly SSL?
Jugsi Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 United saw something in Jeff at left back, just an idea Nige but why not try playing him there again?
Danno Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 United saw something in Jeff at left back, just an idea Nige but why not try playing him there again? How when they played him up front? Jesus Christ.
Soar Fox Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Get rid off Konchesky Wellens Whitbread Vardy Gallagher Beckford Futcas. Can see Kasper leaving if we don't get promotion unfortunately. He's to good for us anyway.
Haydos Posted 3 April 2013 Posted 3 April 2013 Surplus to requirements: Gallagher Futacs Wellens Whitbread Needs to be moved on: Vardy Waghorn Konchesky Dyer Nugent Marshall James May want to leave: Schmeichel What?
