Harry - LCFC Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 i'm 100% going to this, whether home end or away end. Well done Forest, do they really, really think that we won't go in the home end? or are they just thick should plan a section for people to sit in for those who can't get away tickets I've had a chat with some of their fans and they've told me it's pretty unlikely. They said they've already got advanced bookings going so people can buy tickets for the game in the home end as we speak. They've also got this three game package which has sold fairly well so that'll also take up a fair number in the home end. I don't know how reliable these comments are but I can't imagine they're too out of place. Reckon it'll be tough to find many spaces in with the Forest fans.
Father Ted Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 Fvcking LCFC direct fvck off. Irritates me so much that people can cheat the system and get in front of the fans who have shown comittment and dedication for a full season. It's basically like having a ST and then not being able to get a ticket for a PO semi because someone's found a loophole in the system and nicked it. If I don't get a ticket because of LCFC direct. Exactly, it's a joke, I'm Priority 2 but I can genuinely see some P2's missing out because people can buy when they like as long as they have internet access, complete joke. That system needs sorting.

But seriously, if you've been to 8+ games you've earnt the privilege of being guaranteed a ticket for big games like this one. The way the club can allow people to undermine the system shows a real apathy IMO, shows they've failed to keep the promise they've made to reward those the most committed fans. The thought of a non-STH getting a ticket ahead of me (13 away games last season) irritates me beyond belief. And you're quite entitled to feel the same

And you're quite entitled to feel the same Exactly, I made 9 away games last season and 11 so far this year (Palace to be 12 and Forest 13), would be a joke if some non-STH got a ticket ahead of me after I've spunked ridiculous amounts of money over the last 2 seasons (mainly to see us lose because of our gash away form) and followed us all over the country.

Well quite. That sums up the travesty of fairness that could occur when tickets go on sale. You've clearly earnt your place in the away end at The City Ground. I hope you get what you deserve for your efforts

Recent games have been pretty well attended anyway and the last game of the season pretty much always sells out (unless it's been an unmitigated disaster of a season...like the last one).

What if they had done 11 games and did not have a season ticket? Still just as much money and loyalty you have given?
rico Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 if i want a ticket,i'll get it by whatever way benefits me,couldn't give a shit if someones been more away games than me
promised land Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 What if they had done 11 games and did not have a season ticket? Still just as much money and loyalty you have given? No they haven't, a season ticket holder pays upfront for the season and commits to every game by doing so. Someone who decides which home games they attend and goes to 11 aways isn't showing more loyalty to the club. The club don't get anything from the sale of away tickets so the system is correct in that STH are first inline even if they have attended one or no away games the previous season. What is wrong is the online system in that the priority scheme doesn't work.
Brooksy Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 Are people actually going to bother with this if we've got nothing to play for and Forest are in the play-offs?
1964FOX Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 I guess this is the game we find out if the n lie system really is unfair. I don't think any age this sason hasn't go to general sale. It's possible you may e able to book a ticket on line and as long as your priority status is reached it will be sent out but if it's not reached as may happen with this game it won't be sent and you will be refunded therefore no beating the system we shal see. Clearly if enough people complain then Surely they would enforce this. If not then clearly this is wrong that people can chet the priority system.
Harry - LCFC Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 Are people actually going to bother with this if we've got nothing to play for and Forest are in the play-offs? Yes. Some people really are lunatics when it comes to attending pointless away games (including me ).

In your opinion, how likely is that Leicester fans could get tickets in the home end? It doesn't concern me personally but there seem to be a lot of people planning to do exactly this.

Happy Fox Posted 14 April 2013 Author Posted 14 April 2013 Definitely beating those bastards and denying them a playoff spot would be fantastic.

It's quite likely that tickets will only go to those with a client ref. number so unless you have a Forest supporting mate with a purchase history it might be tricky. There's always going to be a few away fans sitting in home areas for any game but I can't see yourselves doing it in any great numbers.
Happy Fox Posted 14 April 2013 Author Posted 14 April 2013 There will be plenty outside the ground or in Nottingham pubs if people cannot get tickets.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 Going this, what I don't get is that forest thinks giving them some of the away end is a good idea? What they going to do, barrier up the away end in the concourse or what?

Corky Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 Definitely beating those bastards and denying them a playoff spot would be fantastic. It would mean little if we finish below them, because our season would've been a failure.
Harry - LCFC Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 Erm. Have you considered registering with LCFC direct and getting a ticket that way? I can't as I'll be at college early in the morning so my first opportunity will be midday and I won't be at home so I'll have to go straight to the ticket office. Anyway, that isn't the point. I'd have no problem with LCFC Direct if it took priority into account. At the moment it allows people to cheat the system and get tickets they aren't entitled to under the rules.

Do you not know a bigger boy or girl who could use your log in and get you a ticket?
