Harry - LCFC Posted 14 April 2013 Posted 14 April 2013 Do they not have PC's in your college? Do you not know a bigger boy or girl who could use your log in and get you a ticket? Yes but I can't set up an account on them and actually none come to mind. They're all employed or in full time education. In any case, that is isn't the point! LCFC direct is unfair and I want it dealt with. Oh sir, I do congratulate you on your well argued point of view. I'd like you to explain that to me if that's not too much of a problem. Why does my point of view (not wanting people to cheat the system) make me a faggot?

Or failing that ring them up like many of us who have full time jobs do.

I don't want the blasted thing to be in place, I don't want to use it, it's unfair which has been my point all along. We wouldn't be having this conversation if such undermining of the system couldn't happen. You're offering me solutions but I've already got my mind set on one - take priority into account. Done. just stop whining and do something about it,do you realise how pathetic you come across? I'm pathetic because I don't want to be cheated out of a ticket for the biggest game of the season? Sorry if my passion is getting a bit blown up here but I really detest the idea of some non-STH getting ahead of someone who's been a committed and dedicated supporter. It's not fair and I struggle to see how anyone could defend it.
Bert Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 I can't as I'll be at college early in the morning so my first opportunity will be midday and I won't be at home so I'll have to go straight to the ticket office. Anyway, that isn't the point. I'd have no problem with LCFC Direct if it took priority into account. At the moment it allows people to cheat the system and get tickets they aren't entitled to under the rules. Get in touch with the club if you feel that strongly about it?
Harry - LCFC Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 Get in touch with the club if you feel that strongly about it? Yeah I will do. Tbh I think I've probably been a bit strong on here (like I always am, as you know ) but really think it's unfair.
Dan Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 Sod it I'm going. I regret not going to Norwich last year and this is shaping up to sound a very similar case, only potentially even better (or a lot, lot worse....). It's a bad price but to be honest I'd rather pay that than say £25 for your mediocre away day in this league, I've been through plenty of shite on the road in the past three years so I'd be spiting no-one but myself by not going. Very much a one-off from me.
Number 6 Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 IF we still have a chance of PO for this game (big if), and if that could potentially be at the expense of Forest this game will be huge. Can certainly see it being chosen for Sky as top 2 look sorted and they aren't usually interested in the Championship relegation battle.
Simmo86 Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 I'll probably get a ticket then if it turns out to be nothing riding on it I'll return it.
Alexikokopops Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 So what if they don't live in Leicester or near enough to make home games but choose to attend away games? I'm in that situation and I still think season ticket holders should take priority.
Number 6 Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 I don't know ow why the club find it so hard. Just make it so that purchasing tickets requires you to have a LCFC direct account - no matter of the purchase method. Then purchases through the season acquire points. Lots of points for people who buy a season ticket. Lots of points for people who go to many away games. How hard can it be?
cambridgefox Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 Get in touch with the club if you feel that strongly about it? Many years ago,you know when we were good!i had been to nearly all the coca cola cup rounds.i believe Northampton,Ipswich and Wimbledon home and away, living near Cambridge this was a trek, but a worthwhile one.well we got to the final and the club announced the only way to get tickets was to go to the ground,in the week!this, due to work was impossible due to the distance.needless to say after complaining I got nothing and missed out.Last year I made a flippant comment about a Leicester Mercury offer, when I was purchasing tickets, and not being able to get a discount as I live further away and can't get the Mercury, this was just a sarcastic comment, yet the club gave me these tickets at the reduced price.so as you said worth a try.
Marmite Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 I am going regardless if we can make the play offs or not. It would still be just as good if they needed to win to go in the playoffs and we beat them. The pressure would be off us and all on them
RonnieTodger Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 If it means **** all for us, let's hope it means **** all for them so they don't sell out. Bastards. To be honest, I'm only going to try and get a ticket if we beat Bolton and/or are still in with a shout by the time they come out anyway. So fair play to anyone who's going regardless
Dan Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 To be honest I'll go if it means nothing. There's a large difference with playing these cvnts and playing Leeds in a nothing game, I'd be absolutely sick to miss us win at Forest in the league for the first time since the stone age. Normally strongly against paying a silly price but I will make exceptions.

Harry - LCFC Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 Who is to say that just because you dont have a season ticket your a non committed and dedicated supporter in the first place? If you live in Leicester and don't own a ST it's hard to really claim that you're a dedicated fan, unless financial restraints prevent you from owning one. I could make an exception for those who don't live in Leicester but what can I say - They can't expect to get tickets for such high profile games if they don't attend even if it isn't their fault. In general, STHs are likely to be more committed to the club with a few exceptions.

You could simply buy online when it is your turn thus ensuring your conscience is clear with regards potentially buying early. I really do think you're making a mountain out of a molehill on this one.
wbrown Posted 15 April 2013 Posted 15 April 2013 Last season I was a STH with a friend and went to 15 away games, this season my friend did not want to renew, and so with the amount of glory hunters in the Leicestershire area there is no one really to go with who does not already go with family, so like most normal people I'm not Billy no mates and wouldn't go on my own. So this season without having a ST I have been to a fair few of the games in a midweek when i have forced a mate to come and on saturdays and have attended 12 away games. I wouldn't cheat the system, but have looked at buying tickets on a Priority 2 day before this season, and it wouldn't even let me click on "quick seats", so all this moaning and complaining is a bit nonsense in my view as it doesn't let you anyway, I don't know the story about ST priority 3 Holders but im sure it doesn't let people who are not STH's ?
cuddly ken Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 I doubt we will have 2000 foxes fans who will want to go to watch Forests promotion party, sad but true. Why didn't we go for Billy Krankie when we had the chance.

Why didn't we go for Billy Krankie when we had the chance. Well they won't get top 2 so I don't see how our game with them will be their promotion party...

Burbage Fox Posted 22 April 2013 Posted 22 April 2013 If the red shite lose on Saturday and I think they are at Milwall and we win on Friday, I think that puts them out of the play offs, do you think they will then give us more tickets? Failing that how many City fans do you think will be in different parts of their ground
kyleolly Posted 22 April 2013 Posted 22 April 2013 My mate is a priority 2 sth and can't make the forest game, he takes his child so in effect I have 2 priority 2 season tickets for forest will I be able to use the rugrats st to buy an adults ticket?
