Simo86 Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 We'll probably be given more. We're entitled to at least 10% of the ground.
Simmo86 Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 Can't see them wanting both Leicester and Forest in the Bridgford End
Guest Bilo Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 It does seem a bit of a spurious source. The only time I can recall teams being given less than the whole Bridgford End is when they played Blackpool and Yeovil in the playoffs. Police will not, as you rightly say, fancy Leicester and Forest being separated by a bit of tarpaulin in the same end.
Fox92 Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 Nothing on OS yet anyway regardless of what someone has posted. Can't see them wanting both Leicester and Forest in the Bridgford End edit: I see what you mean now.
Out Foxed Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 Forest don't care about us though. So it shouldn't matter.
Alexikokopops Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 We'll probably be given more. We're entitled to at least 10% of the ground. Isn't that just the cup? I could be wrong, mind.
GingerrrFox Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 Scared. They know that we are a better side than them and they also know that they won't sell out for shit but they would rather have it empty than have us making a noise similar to a Tornado getting behind the boys. If I don't get a ticket for our end, and in the words of the video I'll go in their ****ing end and if they want some I'll ****ing give it them.
purpleronnie Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 From my understandiung the safety officer of the host stadium will decide if a particular match is likely to be contentious, our game against forest would be, so then they draw up a risk assessment, that gets sent off to the safety advisory group amd the council so they can give a safety certificate. I dont believe that a certain percentage is actually adhered too its really down to the people I have mentioned to decide on the final allocation.
Guest Bilo Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 I know the Premiership rules state that either 10% of the ground or 3,000 tickets has to be allocated to away fans, unless in exceptional circumstances or if otherwise agreed by both clubs due to an expected low away following. Wigan often have very small allocations for this reason, but these are generally agreed by both clubs. I'm not sure about Football League rules. EDIT: Found the Premiership rules, not sure if they apply to the FL. 7. Unless otherwise agreed by the Board or between the Clubs, each Home Club shall make available to its Visiting Club 3,000 tickets (or, if the capacity of the Home Club s ground is less than 30,000, such number of tickets as is equal to 10 per cent. of its ground capacity) of which: 7.1 at least half must be made available on a sale or return basis; and 7.2 the balance must be ordered by the Visiting Club (subject to the conditions set out in Rule C.40) at least 4 weeks before the League Match to which they relate.
Maybes Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 Any opportunity they have to shit on us, be sure that they will. I can't see the police being too happy with 4k Leicester running around Notts CC if the game is likely to be as massive as it potentially could be. Still I pray that we get the standard 4k.
Simo86 Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 Isn't that just the cup? I could be wrong, mind. From my understanding its 15% in the cup
Guest Bilo Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 They are within their rights to do this, 2,000 is the minimum for Football League fixtures. 34.2.1 Each Club must make provision for at least 2,000 visiting supporters at every home match or such number as represents 10% of the Club's certified capacity, if less than 2,000. The Executive may, on the prior written application of a Club, suspend this Regulation or reduce the figure either for a particular League Match or for a period of time. With effect from the 2011/12 Season each Club shall, subject to any dispensations granted by the Board, make provision for at least 200 of the visiting supporters to be accommodated under cover. Any Club which fails to meet the requirement of 200 visiting supporters being accommodated under cover and which does not have a dispensation granted by the Board shall have such amounts as the Board shall determine (in its absolute discretion) withheld from that Club's central distributions from the Pool Account until such time as the Club can meet the requirement. Whether or not they will remains to be seen, but it all depends on how the next few weeks pans out I suppose.
GingerrrFox Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 My view is they either be smart and give us 4,000 and keep us all in the away end or they be stupid and give us 2,000 for the away end and then deal with the consequences of having 2,000 fans where they shouldn't be in other areas of the ground. Simple really because either way if it's a game with massive importance (i.e. deciding playoff places) then there will be plenty of Leicester fans in and around Nottingham looking for tickets.
Manwell Pablo Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 If we've both got a chance of the play offs this I predict carnage no matter what the allocation.

Alexikokopops Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 From my understanding its 15% in the cup Fair enough, although from Bilo's post it seems (in the league) it's 10% or 2000, whichever is smallest They are within their rights to do this, 2,000 is the minimum for Football League fixtures. 34.2.1 Each Club must make provision for at least 2,000 visiting supporters at every home match or such number as represents 10% of the Club's certified capacity, if less than 2,000. Harry - LCFC Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 Going to be queuing outside the ticket office at fvcking 7:30 then.
Guest Bilo Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 The wise thing to do would be to give us the standard allocation. They don't give the Bridgford End to home fans at all for 22 games a season and I question what kind of fans would end up in there, as well as the very strong likelihood of the ground being full of Leicester if they halved our allocation. It'd be an absolute nonsense.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 I can imagine their club doing it just to spite us.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 11 April 2013 Posted 11 April 2013 Didn't Stoke pull this move on us in 2008, and we ended up with a pathetic 1,500 or so in the corner?
