Bilbo Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 Can't believe the club has had to resort to bloody clappers to create an atmosphere! When will they learn the awful artificial sound of clapping doesn't equal atmosphere
Bilbo Posted 26 April 2013 Author Posted 26 April 2013 We may as well get a horn that when you blow it it sounds like people are cheering. Another example of the club appealing to 'family' market.
MooseBreath Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 It's a weird move in one of the few games in the season where a decent atmosphere was always likely anyway. The clappers just seem to be drowning out the real atmosphere at present (maybe that was the idea all along [/cynic]). Should have tried it for a dead mid-season tuesday night game, not an important game like this.

Bob Weasel Fox Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 I thought it was a thread about my ex-wife but then I realised it said clappers

anglodan Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 They all stopped in a nano second after the second! Quicker than I turn off spanktube on my laptop off when the wife comes in.
Master Fox Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 Nothing says "we love you" like a plastic clapping machine. The joy of supporting Leicester.
Daggers Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 Nothing says "we love you" like a plastic clapping machine. The joy of supporting Leicester. +1 This Err, what he said.
Swalker Posted 2 May 2013 Posted 2 May 2013 I thought they were good! Made a lot of noise which usually our fans don't at home, what's the problem with them?
Dan Posted 3 May 2013 Posted 3 May 2013 They seemed to get more people involved and I'd like to think that more get involved in future (not holding my breath...) but I think the fact we had to resort to them was a complete embarrassment.
turkish14 Posted 3 May 2013 Posted 3 May 2013 Some people will never be satisfied. I couldn't care how the atmosphere inside the ground is made, as long as we actually get an atmosphere. Thought it was really good last Friday and I applaud the owners for trying at least.
Ely fox Posted 3 May 2013 Posted 3 May 2013 Yeah that noise is so fake and commercial. Just terrible. Reminds me of them blooming voovoozellas or whatever there called that ruined the last world cup.

Babylon Posted 3 May 2013 Posted 3 May 2013 Can't believe the club has had to resort to bloody clappers to create an atmosphere! Well the fans have had the chance the last 10 years and done sod all to create an atmosphere, as a one off to try and get people enjoying making noise and creating an atmosphere there is nothing wrong with it.
ozleicester Posted 3 May 2013 Posted 3 May 2013 awful?... nahh http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-q3cUmLO8E
indierich06 Posted 3 May 2013 Posted 3 May 2013 Can't believe the club has had to resort to bloody clappers to create an atmosphere! When will they learn the awful artificial sound of clapping doesn't equal atmosphere Well they can't rely on the ****ing fans to make any noise can they? Honestly, if the fans who moan about the lack of an atmosphere stopped moaning and started actually doing something about it, then the club wouldn't need to do stuff like this. It's embarrassing alright; it's embarrassing that even our owners know we don't sing enough, we don't cheer enough, we don't clap enough and they've had to give us a little gadget to do it for us. Reflects worse on the sorry state of our support than the owners.

dayday Posted 3 May 2013 Posted 3 May 2013 It could of been worse,we could have been given a foxes mask just like Derby had a sheep mask.
Ely fox Posted 3 May 2013 Posted 3 May 2013 It could of been worse,we could have been given a foxes mask just like Derby had a sheep mask. the mask and the clappers would have looked weirdly right ... like peaches and cream
ruisliptiger Posted 3 May 2013 Posted 3 May 2013 These things are spreading like the clap. They'll be making an appearance at the KC tomorrow. I think everybody should start playing kazoo's instead.
