It's a tactic which worked pretty well first half, stopping their midfield picking out passes to their pacey forward. Just chucking him up front will allow them more time on the ball to spray it about. As usual, Nugent is taking one for the team Yes - that is a good tactic if you are playing away - and have an on form striker ahead. I wasn't having a go at Nugent.
