Asha Posted 2 June 2009 Posted 2 June 2009 No Year 10! Yeah it took the one sitting next to me in IT until early April to admit defeat and that they would take second place!!Glad i have maths gsce out the way. Dreading French listening tomorrow In my French listening the tape didn't work, so we all got given our predicted grades for that 25%.
Part Of The Crowd Posted 2 June 2009 Posted 2 June 2009 In our French speaking in year 10 one of my friends made a mistake then started yelling 'Oh fook' over and over again on the tape before realising they forgot to press the pause button, you weren't allowed to go back and tape over anything (it was a one time recording tape). Needless to say he got a bollocking. I have 6 Chemistry A2's and an English Literature Synoptic paper resit, the English lit is 4 hours long for me because I'm dyspraxic. First Chemistry exams tomorrow
Joe. Posted 2 June 2009 Posted 2 June 2009 I'm shitting it for these exams coming up now. Knowing that they're hopefully the last one's I'll ever do, and that I NEED to get my grades for university is worrying me. And I've never worried about exams in the past. Still, can only revise lots and hope for the best. Psychology's doing my head in though, got the first exam a week today.
DB11 Posted 3 June 2009 Posted 3 June 2009 History Paper One: International Relations 1919- 1939 DEPTH STUDY: Germany 1918- 1945
C-man Posted 3 June 2009 Posted 3 June 2009 Nailed on failure this afternoon. Looks like I'll be coming back to resit in August. List of excuses ready: - Shit, boring lecturers - Crap tutors - Long way to walk to lectures - Topics I revised didn't come up - I 'paniced'

DB11 Posted 3 June 2009 Posted 3 June 2009 History Paper One:International Relations 1919- 1939 DEPTH STUDY: Germany 1918- 1945 That went quite well I thought
DB11 Posted 3 June 2009 Posted 3 June 2009 When I did french listening in year 9 (which I guess is nothing like GCSE) the thing I hated was the speed at which they spoke The accents didn't help, either. The language was a bit of annoyance too, though.

I couldn't understand what some of the people were saying on the tape cos they slurred so much when they spoke. The one i did today was so much harder than any other mock i have done!
