MPH Posted 4 June 2013 Share Posted 4 June 2013 FFP could make it difficult for older players like Given to get the kind of deal they want..... people are now going to want players they can make a bit of money on when they sell them on... He may have to severely lower his demands to make it worth someone taking a punt on him... Then again at the age of 37 he might want to just sit out his contract as I bet he is on a tidy sum at Villa.. and he would most likely get way more in that one year than he would 2 years in the champ....
