Guest Col city fan Posted 18 June 2013 Posted 18 June 2013 Far to early to be moaning about a lack of activity. This close season I expect a lot of late rush to pick up free transfers on low wages. Moreso than any season previously. I don't only mean City in this, but generally. This is how the transfer activity will change IMO. Very little cash will change hands between Championship clubs in terms of transfer fees. Instead, expect late deals aimed at clubs wanting to offload and players who must accept lower wage deals when their contracts are ending or have ended. I wouldn't be surprised if there's very little until the final two weeks before the season kicks-off, then all Hell will let loose as clubs try to vy for scraps.
Happy Fox Posted 18 June 2013 Posted 18 June 2013 It has actually been a great summer so far, none of our better players have left the deadwood will eventually one would hope because of this new DOF appointment then we can bring in some good players on loan or free agents and have a competitive squad for next season.

I wish people would stop acting like 5 year olds waiting for christmas and just get real.

And these new board appointments point towards the Thai's doing a venky's a keeping their distance.
