Do I really, so I have posted a thread about the odds for us winning the league, have a name like "we're ****ing ace", and go around every thread saying how wonderful we are do I. Stop talking out of your arris.

 

I picked the last 6 games because they showed the flaw in the other posters logic. I did not say that form would have us top, would have us promoted, would make us brilliant, just that it wouldn't have us relegated.

 

If looking at the last 6 games (and the whole season) and thinking you know what, we might have a bit too much to be relegated is "overly positive" I would seriously not like to be in your company.

 

Find a single post where I have said we're great, Pearson is great, we're going up, everything is hunky dory. You can even get Matt and Col to help you look.... I'll save you the time, because I haven't and never have.

 

What perhaps you need to do, is recognise the difference between someone being overly positive, and someone defending ridiculous negativity.

I'm with you, I have concerns myself about Pearson as I've stated more than once since the start of Feb. He's scraped into the minimum I expected by the skin of his teeth.

 

There are positives and negatives surrounding him staying or going.

 

 

Perhaps we will learn from his mistakes, perhaps a summer away will give him the chance to fix a few problems as he did last time. Perhaps he's just too slow to learn and too slow to fix the problems. I don't know.

 

 

Whilst he's done his best to wreck any faith I had in him since the end of Jan, I have always said I would like to see a manager to be given years to create their team. Would be exceptionally brave maybe even stupid of the owners. But interesting to see nonetheless, if the theory behind someone needing time to build would play out as people have often said.

 

 

I backed Pearson for a good part of this year because we were playing good football and were second in the league. No we are doing neither of the above and there are little excuses for him

Thanks for the advice but I feel I'm rather good at ignoring any brainwashing such as the comments you've just given. When you say 'think for yourself' I imagine what you actually mean is 'agree with me' because let me tell you, I consider myself to be a reasonably intelligent individual and I have come to a conclusion that is quite dissimilar to yours - that we as a club are in a reasonable position at present.

 

If I'm mistaken and you do actually want me to think for myself then I'm sure you'll respect my optimism "based on  absolutely nothing" as you like to put it.
