He mentioned relegation and Leicester, we must kill! Instead lets kid ourselves, make ourselves feel better by looking at awful, pathetically shite short odds of us gaining promotion and seeing ourselves as 2nd favourites....

Same, I think QPR could go, I think they'll have to lose a fair few players.
Lasty Posted 20 June 2013 Posted 20 June 2013 I won't be lumping on, as we definitely won't go down. However, I don't think we'll exactly set the league on fire with the current squad either. So at the moment, I'll say somewhere between 8th and 12th would be a decent bet. Time for some players, methinks.

I'm not having a go, or anything here, but you've got to be ready (and rightly so) for people to disagree when you put it in the main forum. It kind of does look like you're implying we will be relegated, it's exactly what I thought why I first logged on and saw the thread title.

Guest Col city fan Posted 20 June 2013 Posted 20 June 2013 I can't see us going down! We are too strong at home, minus the odd blip. It's AWAY from home that things must change. Our away form last season compared to our away form under Pearson's first tenure in the Championship was worse. If we can't toughen up and stop conceding away goals away from the KP, we won't be any better this coming season than we were last. I'd pitch us 7th again, in terms of how the squads look currently. However, without obvious improvements, especially in the midfield area, I fear we could finish lower than this. Bottom three? Nah...
connorlcfc Posted 20 June 2013 Posted 20 June 2013 if pearson doesn't start going into the transfer market I wouldn't be surprised after a dreadful end to the season (apart from forest) I've got to say i'm not confident going into a season were there are some first class teams , but maybe we wont go up but we may not go down it depends on what pearson does in the next 2/3 months
