i might just do that  lol

I must admit I haven't looked at the business as a whole until you brought it up. On further research I see that it's 64% government owned and has been since 2007. Oh the irony Zingy  lol

I know I'm just messing witcha.

I see that Ross McEwan has only been in charge since August. If he's anything like most career executives he'll be throwing the kitchen sink into the costs to make sure his tenure shows improvement.

In fairness when it comes to RBS I think the tax payer has the right to a bit more transparency on the bonuses. I'd like to see exactly what these people have done to earn such sums and maybe some evidence showing that the market for their talents is as competitive as they say. The concern as soon as the public sector becomes involved, as it has with RBS, is that the tax payer could be being taken for a ride.

Actually it's a successful New treatment for cancer. Perhaps we don't have the right to be happy about while IDS is deliberately murdering people with the bedroom tax but I thought it was good news.

Sorry I never looked at the link. It is good news then. I was making assumptions but I was in a hurry so never checked first. Well done the Mail on it.

Only because it's tax payer funded, you understand. And I reckon it would be all above board. But since I've paid some of those bonuses I want to know more details.

If I do not like a subject in a thread I do not open it or make snide remarks in it. We all have that choice.

All is well in Surbiton so no worries.
