I appreciate it probably won't come to anything but I'm unemployed and genuinely have the patience to sit playing this game for hours. Might be worth trying to actually make something out of it.

He'll shoot from stupid angles and consistently hit the side netting, on the rare occasions he does get a shot on target it'll be straight into the keeper's palms.

Fox92 Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 Won the FA Cup last season and got into Europe (first time). Had Levski, Spartak Moscow and PSV in my group - so bit tough... In order, I beat Levski 4-1 (they are the worst team in the group), lost at home to Spartak 2-5, lost away at PSV 1-3, somehow beat PSV 4-1 at home, beat Levski again, then went into the last game on 9 points and both PSV and Spartak had 10. Needed to win in Russia because PSV should really hammer Levski. Anyway, I beat Spartak away 3-0 (I don't know how I did that) but more importantly PSV lose to Levski (their first win in the whole group!) so I win the group and PSV just finish second. Not sure how I did that but it was a (sort of) miracle. Obviously with Europe, PL, FA Cup and Carling Cup I have a quick turnaround of games so the team isn't the same all the time. Clearly impacting results because my results arn't consistent. Example - beat Liverpool at home easily, yet Reading visit and do me 0-3.

I'm happy I got as far as I did as I had to beat Barcelona and Man City to get there. A few days after this game I got a message from the board saying they've planned the extend my stadium which means I have to play my games at PSV's Stadium for 14 Months! Has anyone else had something like that happen to them as well?

Has anyone else had something like that happen to them as well? My Wrexham had to play at Goodison Park for a few months while the Racecourse was expanded. 14 months seems a long time though!

So it's like an entirely new world of players. I don't mean the players get renamed and Messi is still at Barcelona named 'Steve Smith' or something though, although I guess that could still be quite fun in a way.

Been drawn with Spain, USA and Morocco in my group. Drew 1-1 with Spain first match. 86th minute equaliser from Llorente . Beat USA 2-1. Was 1 minute away from going out and Rickie Lambert scored a 94th minute equalier to clinch a draw with Morocco. Awful stuff but we're through. 1. Spain 5 (+2) 2. England 5 (+1) 3. Morocco 3 (0) 4. USA 1 (-3) Got Ivory Coast in the last 16. I
