We've done great to get 7 points but I've decided this season I'm taking one game at a time. It's too early to tell whether lessons have been learnt or not and I don't want to see predictions being made way too early. Some on here have done that season after season and I don't think it's proven wise to do so. Great, 7 points, but let's just see how the next few pan out without getting any knickers in a twist. I am concerned that we look so out of sorts, and numerous players looking like they are lacking confidence, dyer, wood, knockeart, well and most of them barring Moore and Morgan. I would have expected a more confident, polished performances after preseason, but we look a long way off that, but hey ho 3 from 9 points. I don't know what it is, the formations ?, but for me we look no better than the end of the season just had a bit more luck.

Didn't get the results when it mattered before with Forest in play-off semi-finals. Didn't get the results at Derby once promoted. Didn't get the results when it mattered with a decent Preston side either who really should have gone up. He has the aura of a bottlejob. Davies just doesn't have that final bit of quality in his management. He gets so far and then can't produce. Normally blames on the lack of financial investment from his board. Who knows Pearson may be the same but to say Davies gets results is factually rubbish.

I really dont get the Billy Bumfest that goes on here either. Its Forest in general with some people on here. Every player they sign we should have, the matchday thread constantly has their score updates on it followed by ...... and people always bang on about Billy Davis. As said, he gets to a certain point then fvcks it up. A couple of years ago in the play offs at home, he played with no strikers!! Plus he's a fvcking idiot.

Derby were cruising along to automatic promotion that season but then they only picked up 12 points in the final ten games of the season. He bottled it. 7 points clear at the top I believe at one point. Won the play-offs and he gave up before the season even started in the Premier League. Bit perplexed by the cult of King Billy. Particularly as he shares a lot of similarities with Nige. Probably most evident is their awkward personalities.

Of the 12 teams that have gone up in the past 4 seasons, 8 have had managers in their first year, 3 in their second and only one that was in his third. The most stable managed club in the division at the moment is Derby....they have a Nigel too.

If a manager is good enough, he'll turn it round in a season or two tops. However, where I disagree with you and always have is on Sven. He was pants. Pearson is moving things in a better direction.
