CountesthorpeFox Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 May have been posted before and may not be of interest but - http://the72.co.uk/away-team-followings-week-5/ currently in 4th spot with some decent figures.Hopefully can keep that up. Obviously early days . .
ScouseFox Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 When did Watford get ANY fans at all? Let alone the most in the league?!
65RosesFox Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 Forest are only second because they took over 50% of their total to Wigan. However Wigan allocating over 4,000 tickets is impressive. I suppose it's the only way they can sell tickets and fill the stands!
CountesthorpeFox Posted 1 September 2013 Author Posted 1 September 2013 Think Watford is skewed a bit by the Reading game.
AKCJ Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 Fair play to everyone. 18 teams averaging 1k+ away. Not bad.
Dan Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 Watford took loads to Birmingham & Reading and it's done on totals rather than average - so us and Watford for example have had three away games. Our support this year has been much improved. Keep it up everyone. EDIT: Shows what I know. Just assumed it was the same figures that had been flying around on Twitter which had totals rather than averages. 4th is very decent and we'll sell Blackpool out with ease too.
MC Prussian Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 QPR's away support has been shocking so far - 771 per game. And Oxford with 1'600 for each away fixture is more than decent for League Two.
promised land Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 However Wigan allocating over 4,000 tickets is impressive. I suppose it's the only way they can sell tickets and fill the stands! I'm fairly sure away teams get the full allocation of a stand behind the goal at the DW, in the prem they used to give it to local teams, Utd, City etc. Plus it's a new ground for most teams for a few years, just like West Ham was the other season.
Fox92 Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 Wolves' away numbers Wolves have always been well supported, and I imagine they'll sell out most place in that division just like we did. The other way around as well, I imagine it's a big thing for League One fans to see Wolves, they are a big club.
Bert Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 Wolves' away numbers They are decent, but Vale is fairly local and Preston was first game.

Corky Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 Wolves' away numbers They are only going to be there for a season so, same way we did, just take plenty away to new grounds and enjoy the experience.
Super_horns Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 1 Think Watford is skewed a bit by the Reading game. Yes and we took 2k to Birmingham. Even took 1,100 to Blackpool. It will drop when we play Burnley,Donny and Blackburn on a Tuesday night on October/November.!
