Danizen Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 Pulis' price has gone down to 4/7 in the last few minutes.
separator Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 Pulis' price has gone down to 4/7 in the last few minutes. Maybe had him lined up for a while. Can't see McLeish or McClaren going there, Forest rejects
The Year Of The Fox Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 Pulis is the word amongst the sheep bothers around this way.
separator Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 Looks like people are definately lumping their cash on Pulis, 2/1 to 4/7 in 10 minutes
separator Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 Savage not too pleased Robbie Savage â€@RobbieSavage811m Ludicrous , diabolical , ridiculous , stupid can't think of any more words to describe the sacking of Nigel clough The first 3 words of his tweet do describe Derby quite nicely though
Jimothy Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 Ridiculous decision. Basically exactly what Guesty said, he halved the wage bill and had no investment. He's playing mainly youth players and cast offs. Pulis, if it is him, might push them further up the league, but he plays awful football that will damage the development of those promising young players like Hughes.
LCFC FOX Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 Haven't they just loaned Keane and someone else from Man Utd? Will they go back
Leicesterpool Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 and I thought Cloughee was untouchable at Derby! results have been poor and to be honest should have gone long ago but i don't think they've been bad as other times, didn't they win 5-1 at Millwall two weeks ago? Steve Kean to Derby i think
Leicester_Numan Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 One of our fans tweeted this morning that Pulis asked him for directions to the City Ground. Apparently he was there, so I wouldn't be surprised if he was their next manager. How the hell can he not know where the City Ground is though? It's not exactly hard to find and he must have been there before
breadandcheese Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 Really surprised. Not sure what the Derby board expect. With the wage bill that Derby have relative to all the other teams in the League, Clough is achieving exactly what they should. If they want him to challenge, they should back him.
ADK Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 If you are going to take the playing academy players and building slowly approach then surely having a long running hard working manager is just what you want, Curbishley at Charlton springs to mind.

I am Rod Hull Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 Jimmy Savile is alive! I bet Michael Fish didnt predict that...
Leicesterpool Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 Oh great we've got rugby coming to the king power on the 11th January!
Guesty Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 If they do give Pulis the job that pic there makes him and whoever that is with him (I assume a Derby board member) look like a right cnut. Stealing another managers job like that is a bit out of order and I hope he gets a ton of stick for it - especially from other managers and ex-pros. The only ones that don't are probably the ones that have done something similar.
Leicesterpool Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 Also wasn't Martin spotted at the King Power on Tuesday? Along with that it could explain why he hasn't taken the Republic Of Ireland job?!
separator Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 Just checked the odds again, Pulis now drifted a little to evens, McClaren shortened to 3/1. That pic does suggest Pulis though.
Jimothy Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 Also wasn't Martin spotted at the King Power on Tuesday? Along with that it could explain why he hasn't taken the Republic Of Ireland job?! He's out of work, and probably watches a lot of football. As our ex manager I see nothing unusual about him keeping an eye on how we do, and occasionally popping down when he's not employed. Pulis has no connection at all with either Forest or Derby. He's Welsh born and had neither played for or managed a club in the East Midlands, so his attendance at today's match is very odd.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 28 September 2013 Posted 28 September 2013 Pulis ha, we'll all have to get ready for physical football
