Mike Oxlong Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 Got a Shania Twain sound as well Yeah, know what you mean. The Wire sounds pretty Twainish but somehow, despite that, I still like it :-)
orangecity23 Posted 9 October 2013 Posted 9 October 2013 I recommend Paper Aeroplanes - Little Letters. Cracking stuff, probably my favourite album of the year so far. Someone recommended it on here in a thread about free Amazon downloads when they were giving one of the tracks away. Here's some of the tracks, hope this helps.
Leicester_Numan Posted 19 October 2013 Posted 19 October 2013 If you can handle dark industrial then I recommend Gary Numan's new album Splinter (no surprise there then) but it really is good.
Vlad the Fox Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 I downloaded arcade fire's funeral a couple of weeks back, can't believe I've passed over them, great album. I've since downloaded their suburbs album, great again.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 I downloaded arcade fire's funeral a couple of weeks back, can't believe I've passed over them, great album. I've since downloaded their suburbs album, great again. Don't miss Neon Bible. Unfortunately for me they're one of those bands where each album wasn't quite as good as the previous one. Still better than most though.
Jay Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Don't miss Neon Bible. Unfortunately for me they're one of those bands where each album wasn't quite as good as the previous one. Still better than most though. On First listen the new album is rather boring imo

James. Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 Really enjoying the London Grammar album. Sometimes feels a little safe but fantastic songs nevertheless.
