Parafox Posted 2 October 2013 Posted 2 October 2013 Leicester bus driver who ignores the red light, lollipop lady and kids on a school crossing and flies straight through it. Hopefully they'll find out who it was and sack them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APNTRXV_Eyo Jesus. Maybe he was texting? Bloody good job no-one on his nearside stepped onto the crossing.

pSinatra Posted 2 October 2013 Posted 2 October 2013 Just been down the shops & had a bit of pavement rage. I live in a village centre & parking can be at a premium sometimes. The local chippy is popular & they're already queuing out the door. There was some sort of 4x4 parked in a space far too small to parallel park - so they have driven into the space forwards & onto the pavement. It is basically diagonally parked with the front of the car on the pavement & the back just poking out into the road. I don't think I've ever seen anyone park quite so badly. I'm a skinny fooker & I could only just squeeze between the front of the car & the terraced house. As I squeezed past, the passenger window was open & I saw the driver texting on her phone......so I said something to her. She popped her head out of her window & asked "what did you say?". So I said, "you heard, you ignorant basturd" & carried on walking. She called me a "silly little man" I'm alright Jack & fook everyone else!!
Parafox Posted 2 October 2013 Posted 2 October 2013 Pikeys. (Yes I meant it offensively because they are offensive) And the TV program that promotes them. And that stupid woman that makes the clothes.
The God Emperor Posted 2 October 2013 Posted 2 October 2013 Pikeys. (Yes I meant it offensively because they are offensive) And the TV program that promotes them. And that stupid woman that makes the clothes. THIS!!! I hate them so F***ing much! they tried to have the spare tyre off my van over the weekend. their always breaking into our yard at work and pinching stuff
Dan Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 It's a product of the society we live in. Whichever government is in power this will continue to happen so pointless blaming the Tories for making people more selfish or Labour for paying the lowest dregs of society to breed more.. Moose is correct when he says people are becoming tossers, it's actually encouraged. Get rich or die trying seem to be the favoured quote of the youth nowadays. Facebook and Twitter etc have created a me, me, me style of living, everyone wants everything and no one seems to want to do anything for it. I'm still a guy who holds doors opens and says hello to people if I walk past them in the street (not in town obviously, you'd get twatted), I force myself to do it but most people completely ignore me when I do either now. No solution to it either. Pretty much this. Society's an absolute shambles but apparently it's just because I'm a moaner hilarious.

Fox92 Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 Some things annoy me, but not too much as I do let most things go over my head and always have. In terms of driving, mini roundabouts are annoying. I'm pretty sure 99% of people don't have a clue what to do. I've been in situations before when I've been at an exit if a mini roundabout and none of the cars have attempted to move. I'm sure mini roundabouts should be abolished. There are a few 'scummy' people around that annoy me. Those that spit in the street. Those that stand outside shops, and ride around in gangs who seem to want to intimidate people. Just no, I've never wanted to do this. I find that when I'm at uni in Manchester, I don't get this as much. I can get on the bus and don't feel 'judged' (apart from when I'm drunk and trying to get home at 8am while people are going to work!). People do their own thing like, if you get me. I don't watch tv much either because I find it's generally shite. I'd much rather stick an Only Fools or Fawlty Towers DVD on, instead of watching the likes of Geordie Shore. Some tv programmes just seem to connect everything with swearing and sexual references, it's just boring.

Fox92 Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 I'm obsessed with The smiths at the moment. Just thought I'd share that with you. Ahh yeah, they are one of my favourite bands. I do admire Morrissey, his lyrics and most things he says.
Vlad the Fox Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 The problem with Facebook and Twitter is that people actually think that others give a shit about their boring lives.

Vlad the Fox Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 But the people need to know what I'm having for tea! I'm sorry but unless you're wrestling a lion for it whilst riding a pig no one is interested.
The God Emperor Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 I'm sorry but unless you're wrestling a lion for it whilst riding a pig no one is interested. damn! I was wrestling a pig whilst riding a lion
Fox92 Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 Do you like anything modern? Yes, I like a number of things. I wouldn't say I'm interested in (most) modern tv or music though. And I agree above. I don't have twitter, but I have a Facebook account and there's this one girl in particular who posts everything. I mean, when I'm on a night out I don't intend on posting on Facebook how good it is, etc...
MooseBreath Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 The social networks are a bit of a disaster for people imo. OK they are useful tools for orchestrating a real social life, but the problem is they are not in themselves social in any way, and people use them as a replacement for proper face to face social interaction. This is bad enough but the extra degree of separation seems to encourage people to indulge themselves in narcissism and vanity, creating this frantic orgy of thinly veiled appeals for vicarious gratification, otherwise known as humblebragging. This translates terribly into the real world, and the more people get used to interacting like that on social networks, the harder they find it to interact in real life. All of this is actively encouraged by the websites themselves, as their greatest long term money making potential is in the amount of knowledge they have about people and how much they can sell that knowledge for. So when creepy cvnts like Mark Zuckerberg say things like "if everybody shares everything on facebook then we'll all have much better lives" what he's really saying is "stay indoors on your computer and tell me every little thing that you're doing or thinking, i'll then take all of that information and use it to make myself stinking rich while your social life degenerates into a distant, emotionally vacuous race for 'likes' from people you don't actually know and who don't actually care about you at all". All fvcked up if you ask me.
ADK Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 Are you sure you logged in to the right account moose?
MooseBreath Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 Are you sure you logged in to the right account moose? Yep? Why are you surprised, just out of curiosity. I've been pretty vocally anti these data harvesting companies masquerading as social improvers a number of times on here
sphericalfox Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 Yep? Why are you surprised, just out of curiosity. I've been pretty vocally anti these data harvesting companies masquerading as social improvers a number of times on here Don't know much about the internet, huh?

MooseBreath Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 Don't know much about the internet, huh? Obviously not. But then not being on the same page as you is a relief at least.
