I see a lot of the stats are based on "self declared ethnicity".

 

I always tell any forms or questionnaires that ask for my ethnicity that I refuse to disclose it.  Screw them and their divisive pigeonholing....

Yep and no surprise that police target communities that have high percentage of black people then that will happen.

Crime statistics have to be approached with extreme caution, because it is very easy to leap to conclusions which are not justified by the figures.

In times of inflation and bad times there is always a scapegoat. Modern History has shown us this. There will also be a great orater who is capable of convincing some who that scapegoat should be. I believe Man has learnt from mistakes and has enough humanity not to be fooled again.

But surely you see the correlation, if more white people were searched then it would completely change the ratio and the statistics.

Surely you see the bigger picture.

I'm not sure I buy the "black people are more likely to be stopped and searched" argument for increased violent crime amongst blacks. It's actually a bit absurd when you find the statistics are more than conclusive, this isn't just a few percent difference that could be explained away by some sort of confirmation bias.

 

The bullet ridden and stabbed bodies are a bit of a problem too.

 

It's obvious to me there is a cultural problem that makes young black people, especially those in poorer areas, more vulnerable to being drawn into lives of crime. It is actually glorified in a lot of rap music and other popular media.
