Mack Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 So it looks like Florist is going to be our first Fair Weather Fans fixture of the 2013/14 season. On the back of a cracking run of form we meet our local rivals and it seems to have got the juices flowing of even the part timer glory hunters. So bite your tongues and take a deep breath when that vacant seat just behind you is filled by a group of people asking each other who the number 35 in attack might be and "Who's that in goal" because if we play well and win they might just come back the week after, and then again. And we might just stave off the impending financial doom if we don't get promoted. In fact befriend them, answer their stupid questions and buy them a bovril! Even if their kid is kicking you in the back all game!?
broughtonblue Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 bloody hell, we have so many comments on here that we cant fill the stadium for this game or that game, then when it looks like we might just do it, some people want to have a pop at those that come and make up the numbers from the normal average of 23k! no win situation?
Corky Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 I agree about the people who don't know who the players are making comments. Nothing against those who can't go too often, if I was in their position though I'd at least research who is who before the game.

Did you miss the part where Mack was actually being pro-more bums on seats?! So it looks like Florist is going to be our first Fair Weather Fans fixture of the 2013/14 season. Wilson_6 Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 The not knowing who certain players are is unforgivable if you ask me. I don't live in Leicester and only manage to get to a few games a season but my life is still heavily involved around City. I had to grow up in a town where all the kids grew up supporting Man United and i used to get the piss taken all the time. If that's not a real fan i don't know what is (For the record this will be my first home game of the season)

Are we averaging 23K? We haven't done that for a few seasons. I think it's a good point by Mack. With the amount of tickets sold no doubt some of them will be day trippers jumping on the bandwagon, but I suppose at some point everyone starting out like that, even if you were the 7 year old sitting in the top tier of the Kop rather than the teenager in the West Stand. I mean fvck me they can be annoying, especially if they've got their iphones out to check their accumulators all game. But they can evolve into real fans eventually, I've seen it. I think you know what I'm getting at, lower ticket prices!
Jakemoore Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 I live in London so can't get up very often! I'll be there on Saturday and can name every single player in our squad and state their number. Does that make me a glory hunter?! I'd love to go every week but unfortunately I can't so do one with your over opinionated sh*t!

Really don't think the thread was meant in that vein Jake and would suggest you stopped being so sensitive! A message though to the Kevin & Perrys behind me last game, not only were they on I-phones but when I went to take my seat one had his feet on mine ! If it happens again I promise you will have to go to A&E to retrieve your phone to check the scores!
Guest MattP Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 I go every game and the amount I'll have had before Forest I'll be struggling to tell who is on the pitch.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 Remember guys, you can't be a loyal fan unless you live and Leicester and have a season ticket
Unabomber Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 I go every game and the amount I'll have had before Forest I'll be struggling to tell who is on the pitch. Yeah same, I hope there isn't a pop quiz to go along with the IDing and pat down.

If one of their kids pours Hot Chocolate all down my back this weekend without so much as a word let alone an apology I am going to purchase a king size mars bar and insert it where the sun does'nt shine!
Paulmot Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 I think that no matter what happens people will moan. Cheap tickets then ST holders gripe, low attendances more moans lower prices, full house moaning. Looking forward to this immensely, I am so into the game I do not see others on their phones. I text my lad through the game to keep him up to speed. What does it matter. L E I C E S T E. R Leicester are the best
1964FOX Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 I go every game and the amount I'll have had before Forest I'll be struggling to tell who is on the pitch. Agreed, we are on a pub crawl from 9am.
ronnup Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 Ha ha! I love it. People would genuinely rather have less fans in the stadium. Brilliant. Pray we don't get promoted mate, in fact pray for no success. Sooner or later you'll be the only one there and it can be all about you!
Bayfox Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 Remember guys, you can't be a loyal fan unless you live and Leicester and have a season ticket not really the case. However the **** pigs that I had to put up with next to me against scunthorpe just cuz we lifted the l1 title. Clearly had not been to a game all season and didnt know one city player. Ffs. Never seen them since either.
steveherbe Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 Remember guys, you can't be a loyal fan unless you live and Leicester and have a season ticket Tom, you forgot 'and live at home with mummy and daddy and have nothing else to spend your money on'
Mack Posted 6 November 2013 Author Posted 6 November 2013 If you sit on the end of a row they'll have you up and down more times than a Whore's drawers as they take their bored kids to the bogs 4544364354654634664616316515 times a half!

Sol thewall Bamba Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 Tom, you forgot 'and live at home with mummy and daddy and have nothing else to spend your money on' It was pig ignorant of you to choose to raise your family away from Leicester.
sdb Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 What do I count as...? I've supported LCFC since I was 9. Have been to 60-70 games, most at home, 4/5 away. Not been this season. Every game I listen to/access somehow. Earn a lowish wage. 100 miles from Leicester. Am I loyal/plastic/glory hunter/all/none of the above?
