leicesterseddon Posted 4 July 2014 Posted 4 July 2014 Away Tickets Priority system will remain the same (i.e. points from 2013/14 season will be carried forward, and points from 2014/15 will be added as season progresses) Under PL rules the club has to spend a minimum of £200,000 on away fans and helping to reduce their costs. No firm plans in place yet, but this is likely to be split across subsidising travel and ticketing, as the club acknowledges that not every supporter will use the official Club transport. We are in discussions with other clubs to try and negotiate reciprocal pricing deals. Thanks for the info - didn't know about this at all! Will be interesting to see how the club decide to use the money. ousefox Posted 4 July 2014 Posted 4 July 2014 It'd be ridiculous to subsidise travel. Obviously I'm bias but cutting the ticket price helps everyone, cutting the travel price only helps the people who use those means which would be quite frustrating.

In my mind, the best outcome would be similar to what was done at Liverpool: A reduction in away ticket prices of between £2 and £4, depending on the opposition. The decision was taken after consultation with the club's Supporters' Committee.

Posted 14 July 2014 Posted 14 July 2014 I don't know if this has been mentioned anywhere, but do the club have any plans to support season ticket holders in transferring tickets when they can't make the match. I'm sure United do something similar, to discourage touting and empty seats and mean you wouldn't have to hand over your season ticket, they provided an official resale policy so when a game sold out you could list your season ticket if you couldn't go. Obviously there was an admin fee for the club, but the cost of the match got refunded to the season ticket holder and the ticket was sold around face value, and they either printed a paper ticket for you, or facilitated the exchange of the season ticket and made a little extra. I have already seen a number of posts about people with spare season tickets for certain games, I think it would be great if the club could help set-up an official ticket exchange rather than risking people losing their season tickets, getting ripped off, and making it simple would mean limiting the number of empty seats dotted around for people who couldn't turn up and couldn't find anyone they trusted to sell their ticket to.

Te problem with this is you could end having a plastic sat next to you

I think I'm not alone in this, but I think the reason for concern over goal music and clappers is the wider reputation it gives to us as a club and I can't help but always have that in the back of my mind. *Not an intended cristim of users of clappers by the way.

At the next meeting wanted to ask about he reason for the short deadline for renewal of gold tickets and short deadline for the CL seat MOVERS.... and why no payments terms for the cl packages - it clearly hit people hard
