Sorry for the delay in getting this put up here. Very quick summary of what was said about the main topics:

Man City 6 tickets per STH - as was said in sub-committee meeting, the club wanted to do it as a reward for STH, as they cannot offer cheap tickets due to the rules of the competition. Only 78% of STH bought tickets to the match, and on average they bought 1.8 tickets (incl. their ST). So, as others have said, although the option was there to buy 6 tickets, not many people even took up the option to buy any additional tickets. Next year the rules of the League Cup are likely to change so that away fans will only have to have 10% of stadium capacity, meaning that no STHs will have to relocate.

Half STs - Usual spin that they remain cheaper on a match-by-match basis. There's 2 more matches included in this year than there was last year. Full STHs tend to give a discount of 40% on a match-by-match basis, half-STs range from 10-25%. Sales are ahead of expectation and the club expect to sell more than last season. (No figures were given, unsurprisingly).

Website - Well aware of the problems, including the fact that you cannot buy a membership online. Have a meeting in the coming week with the provider, who are due to give us a new retail website (of the same design as Fulham, if anyone is interested), which should improve performance and appearance. If they do not deliver with this, the Club are open to changing providers.

FFP - Susan said we are fully expecting to meet FFP.

Away ticketing - Change in sales dates is to reduce the number of people in each priority category to give regular away travellers more opportunity to buy tickets. Priority criteria will increase as season goes on to take into account the fact that priority points are also awarded for this season. With regards to agreeing mutual away ticket prices with other clubs, we haven't attempted to do so yet but it something that the Club will look in to. Burnley may be a possibility given that it is a Fans Fixture for us.

Winter Wonderland - There will be no full Winter Wonderland this year due to the early kick off for the Burnley game. Instead the club will be donating the money that they will usually spend to 5 charities. They are open to suggestions for charities to donate to, and are looking for local causes if possible.

Thank you Chloe for the update.

Hahaha those figures are class. Makes a mockery of the whinging that went on at the time. Also, what the actual fvck is wrong with the Football League? The only thing that is keeping the competition afloat is the potential for absolute mobs making their way round the country. Limiting the away followings will kill it.

Half STs - Usual spin that they remain cheaper on a match-by-match basis. There's 2 more matches included in this year than there was last year. Jesus, who in their right mind are buying them?

Not particularly arsed about the appearance but the shambolic performance needed rectifying and at least they are open to changing.

FFP - Susan said we are fully expecting to meet FFP.

Would love to know how she's worked that one out.

More lip service from the Club. They obviously think that doing it for one game a season - where they don't actually have to forego anything - is acceptable. It's abysmal.

Winter Wonderland - There will be no full Winter Wonderland this year due to the early kick off for the Burnley game. Instead the club will be donating the money that they will usually spend to 5 charities. They are open to suggestions for charities to donate to, and are looking for local causes if possible.

Fair play.

Thanks for this CD.

Any update on the potential choreography for the Man City game?

What did Susan think about a preseason friendly down under?

Heard she was keen.

Then the Belgians came over and now we've saved a lot of money in going to Anderlecht :D :D

Minutes from last meeting are now on the official site: http://www.lcfc.com/fans/fans_consultative_committee/

Any ideas for the agenda please let me know before 7th Feb so I can pass them on. I've already asked for a few things to be discussed:

Away priority system, particularly general sale.

Union FS

Reasoning behind Watford being a platinum fixture.

I imagine the season ticket launch may well be discussed too, but I might be wrong.

Thanks for the link, Chloe.

One thing I'd like to raise, and it may have been raised before, but not sure...

Foxes Player - Can you ask the club why the highlights of matches are put on YouTube within hours of a match finishing, but those who have paid for Foxes Player have to wait nearly a day to watch them? Obviously with them being on YouTube, they are free. Also available on YouTube are player interviews, GoalCam and TunnelCam which as entertaining as they can be (maybe?), they are free. It begs the question, what do we pay our Foxes Player membership for now that everything can be accessed via the Club's official YouTube page?

It's been bugging me for a while to be honest.

As an aside, well done to Maz Hallam for getting this in!!

'Alan Digby took the opportunity to applaud the Club...for the remembrance fixture helicopter landing....also disappointed this wasn't shown on local TV or FLS. Maz Hallam was angry that there had been a feature on Billy Davies instead which was very one sided'

i can see why you are annoyed but the match highlights on youtube are the same that are given to the various press agencies that use them

I suppose I understand that, but then that still begs the question of what do I pay my FP membership for? If it's a licensing issue of only being allowed to show them after a certain time, why are the FP highlights not put up at the same time as YouTube? I suppose that isn't relevant cos why would I pay for something when I can get the same thing for free at an earlier time?

The only thing I have got out of FP is the commentary of every match, and even that is intermittent on some matchdays. I know the membership monthly fee isn't too much, but then that's ignoring the principle of paying for something which is ultimately free at an earlier time - and aren't the Foxes Player features meant to be exclusive? Could the monthly fee be lowered now that some features are free?

Posted

Good to see the club has reversed it's decision of over a year ago and now publishes the FCC minutes on the official site.

We never understood the logic of not doing so & carried on putting them on the Trust site anyway

Posted

I think you should lobby for a free cup ticket should we go up.

We will be getting less matches and even though if it's a price freeze, we would technically still be paying more.

The YouTube highlights are shorter than the Foxes Player highlights, but I do agree.

On the subject of FP highlights, is there any reason why we only tend to get 3 to 4 minutes worth? There's often a host of chances missed out, I don't know if it's licensing or whether it's to try and entice people to watch the full halves, but there's always a lot missing which would surely be included in a "highlights" package. Just as an example, Mahrez had a decent effort saved by Given towards the end of the Boro game. How can this not be considered a highlight? Just something which has bugged me for a while.

There isn't much I can add into what Leicester Lass has said for the agenda. The away ticketing system is the big one for me at the minute as it's a total farce. How can general sale have been cut despite tickets going on sale two weeks earlier than they used to?

Be interested to hear what they say about Union FS. I really, really hope that works somehow.

I'd also like to know what LCFC's answers to the safe standing questions were.

Just cancelled my Foxes Player due to the lack of benefits. Apart from the commentary (which i am finding ways around) they provide no real benefit. I have asked them many times about exteneded highlights but they cant/wont do them.

I did discover (and you may know already) that most games are available in full from them. If you click the FP logo it brings up ALL of the videos, which include full matches, and if they arent on our site, you can go to the other teams "Player" and they usually have them.

There have been constant issues with player again this year... breaking up, delayed commentary..no commentary etc etc... and i just cant be fvcked with them..although ill probably end up being suckered again if i cant sort out commentaries.

Perhaps the FCC could ask if we intend continuing with Player should we go up... or will we design a decent site ourselves?

For those interested, a couple of updates from the FCC Meeting on Wednesday. Although the full minutes should be made available fairly soon.

  • Susan mentioned that thanks to the owners clearing of the debt and a huge effort from Nigel, we are as a club, completely compliant with FFP.
  • Season Tickets for the upcoming season are being launched in March - they weren't able to discuss prices but they were 'fair' for whichever league we're in next season - so we shall see.
  • There will be a new retail site launched (I think today) which will improve the process of ticket sales.
  • The reason platinum fixtures were chosen for Sheff Weds and Watford weren't ideal for the club. They had other fixtures in mind (e.g. Leeds was on a Sunday and Sky so left it alone, they presumed QPR would be on Sky, it isn't etc). The recent history between Watford let to that becoming platinum and there's historically been a big crowd for Sheff Wed's games.
  • RE Birmingham away - the guy in charge of our ticket office said he spoke to Birmingham well in advance about getting more tickets and was refused. The most we received was 400 and they sold out the Saturday before the game. Birmingham made tickets available on the gate unbeknown to LCFC.
  • He has also attempted to strike deals with other Championship clubs (namely Burnley) to offer similar deals for away fans, but again was turned down. I presume Burnley think we'll take a load there.
  • Finally, he explained the booking priority - General Sale only means those fans who haven't bought ANY tickets in the past 2 years. The priority before that is for those fans who have been to a game in the last 2 years (if you're friends have bought them for you, speak to the TO and they should use some common sense). He will ensure that fans (with booking history) are given at the very least a week before the game and in most cases 2 weeks.

We also had a discussion about the 'Matchday Experience' and activities around the ground. I think we'll probably see more of the Winter Wonderland type stuff, games and activities for kids around the ground but they're also keen to get people to the ground earlier. So the idea of a pub/marquee selling beer before the game (a la Brighton) was mentioned and taken on board.

Any questions, just ask but as I say, you should see the full minutes, though they have taken quite a while previously.

Thanks. Appreciated once again and look forward to reading the full minutes.

I know I keep banging on about it - but what's the latest with the Foxes Player stuff? Was anything mentioned about it?

Can you ask about getting beer only queues at half time. I went down to the toilet 10mins before half time against ipswich and there were already people queueing. What chance have you got of getting a beer at half time.

Stan I totally forgot to mention this, apologies. We should have a sub-committee meeting within a month or so, please keep pestering me on here or on Twitter so I don't forget.

New retail site launches next Friday too, not today. It will improve functionality - including being able to buy season tickets via direct debit online instead of having to queue at the Fanstore.

Please do chase about Foxesplayer, for those of us who dont live in the UK its out only option and its very poor.

Can we get more of those girls in lycra near the ground on match days. There used to be a couple from platinum lace knocking about near the holiday Inn handing out BOGOF on dances but never returned when the weather got cold.

lol no worries. Thank you :).

With the new retail site, is it just the ticketing part that's been revamped or the whole thing, including clothing etc...?
