promised land Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Full information? Blimey, I've never seen any confirmed details regarding away priority, it's always word of mouth or the shop staff telling me what's happening in previous seasons. Things are changing.
Monk Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 So, the payback period on a stadium extension would be roughly 4 seasons - not terrible
lgfualol Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Very interesting. Seems all very exciting. Why don't they just release the kit earlier. What is scoreflash? I bet it's really obvious.
Leicester Lass Posted 3 July 2014 Author Posted 3 July 2014 Very interesting. Seems all very exciting. Why don't they just release the kit earlier. What is scoreflash? I bet it's really obvious. Scoreflash is just updates of goals as they go in in other games, like we used to do at Filbo.
Bayfox Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Yeah, as far as I understand it. So exactly the same as it was at the start of last season. Full information will be sent out in the next couple of weeks. Thats me down to p2 then boooooo.
lgfualol Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Scoreflash is just updates of goals as they go in in other games, like we used to do at Filbo. Wow, they didn't have that? I haven't been to the KP for ages but always presumed.
Gary Eatfood Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Scoreflash is just updates of goals as they go in in other games, like we used to do at Filbo. Thanks for the feedback Leicester Lass. Good to know that ideas do get heard.
Ricey Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Thanks for the info Leicester Lass. Any mention of improving (or at least cleaning!) the outside of the stadium?
Soar Fox Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Season cards coming from Israel Also why do they feel the need to do "kit teasers" why not just release the bloody thing.
Soar Fox Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Thanks for the info Leicester Lass. Any mention of improving (or at least cleaning!) the outside of the stadium? I drove past the stadium 3 weeks ago and it looked like they were painting or cleaning it.
Harry - LCFC Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Aren't Israel pretty good at technology? Dunno, maybe I'm making that up.
Vicki Vixen Posted 4 July 2014 Posted 4 July 2014 Aren't Israel pretty good at technology? Dunno, maybe I'm making that up. Yes Israel is a huge centre for technology. Intel for example has 9000 employees there. Google has close to 1000. The best outside of California. Away Tickets Priority system will remain the same (i.e. points from 2013/14 season will be carried forward, and points from 2014/15 will be added as season progresses) Supporter Survey 6,159 responses received (3,981 in the prior season) Biggest issue was with catering (only 54% happy with food options, only 33% happy with food prices) For Away Tickets, was a decision made on whether new STHs will get credits for away games attended in 2013/14, or will they need to start from zero? When I emailed Jim at Fanzone a couple of months ago on this, his response was that they hadn't decided yet and a decision would be made later in the summer. For Catering, if the biggest issue in the supporter survey is catering, why is nothing being done about it? I don't really buy into the "we've signed a 10 year contract with Compass" argument, since I know for a fact that Compass will tailor the products and services to each customer's needs. There must be scope to renegotiate the Compass contract to address supporter concerns, and doing so would be in everyone's interests.
TrentFox Posted 4 July 2014 Posted 4 July 2014 Thanks for taking the time to compile all that information Leicester Lass. Appreciated.

For the point about priority, nothing specifically was said apart from that 'STHs who had renewed would be safeguarded' - which I'd probably interpret to mean that only points from when someone has been a STH will count. I don't know for sure though so may be worth a follow up email? As I said, full information about the priority system will be released in a couple of weeks time. On the point of the catering the club are trying, there's a new Compass General Manager who is looking after us now, who is apparently much better than previous managers. There is discussion about catering in all of the meetings that we have, and the comments do get fed back to Compass.
Leicester Lass Posted 4 July 2014 Author Posted 4 July 2014 Thanks for the info Leicester Lass. Any mention of improving (or at least cleaning!) the outside of the stadium? Nothing specifically was said about it, but I know some money is being spent on improving the concourses. I imagine the outside will be made to look at least a little bit more presentable too.
Dr The Singh Posted 4 July 2014 Posted 4 July 2014 Here's a run down of the main bits of the meeting tonight, not everything but the full minutes will be issued by the Club at some point soon. Memberships Details should be released by the end of next week, and before individual matchday tickets go on sale. Current members will get priority to purchase membership before new applicants. Unlikely that there will be a large amount available given the small number of matchday tickets that are going to be left over. We were given no indication of prices. Away Tickets Priority system will remain the same (i.e. points from 2013/14 season will be carried forward, and points from 2014/15 will be added as season progresses) Under PL rules the club has to spend a minimum of £200,000 on away fans and helping to reduce their costs. No firm plans in place yet, but this is likely to be split across subsidising travel and ticketing, as the club acknowledges that not every supporter will use the official Club transport. We are in discussions with other clubs to try and negotiate reciprocal pricing deals. New Kit Planned launch date is 19th July for the home kit only. Away kit (and third kit) will go on sale 1-2 weeks before the season begins. There will be a kit teaser and more information released on the website tomorrow. Catering One for Dr Singh - there is currently no Halal food offered in the stadium. There are plans to get more food units in place around the outside of the stadium in order to cope with increased attendances. I asked about possibility of a beer tent/marquee - this is unlikely to go ahead given that it would take up car park spaces which are needed. Stadium Expansion Certainly no plans this year. May be a possibility if we become an established Premier League team and are selling out every game. Cost would be c. £20m to add an additional 6-8,000 seats. Stadium Improvements Planned spend is c. £6m. Few things that have been done: New floodlights (£500k) 20 new camera positions around the ground New gantry area at the back of the East Stand as we have to provide 15 commentary positions for overseas broadcasters (we currently only have 3 spaces in the East Stand). Electronic advertising boards Hospitality boxes and areas are all being refurbished Reception is going to be rebuilt including trophy cabinet when the Championship trophy will be housed New training ground pitches (£800k) Sound system - the computer has been replaced which should improve the sound quality. Will be some teething problems at the start of the season given that the acoustics are different when the stadium is full. Matchday Goal music - no plans to scrap or change the goal music Scoreflash during the game - this was thought of as a good idea, the Club are checking whether they can do it a) as per the PL regulations and b) technically There is an opportunity for games to be beamed back if needed Supporter Survey 6,159 responses received (3,981 in the prior season) Biggest issue was with catering (only 54% happy with food options, only 33% happy with food prices) There will be a separate media survey in a few weeks to discuss website and social media FCC This was the last meeting of the current membership group, applications will be opened shortly for anyone wishing to apply to become a member. There will be a couple of members kept on from the current crop to give some continuity. Oh, and season cards should be here by the end of July. They're coming from Israel of all places. Thank you Leicester Lass, love you loads, as always!!
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 4 July 2014 Posted 4 July 2014 Who won the season ticket for doing the survey I won it last year, no chance I could be that lucky again is there

whetstonefox Posted 4 July 2014 Posted 4 July 2014 20 new camera positions, a gantry for 15 people, just a glimpse how much has changed since we were last in the premier league!
Guest Papasmurf Posted 4 July 2014 Posted 4 July 2014 How much is the goal line technology going to cost us?
Leicester Lass Posted 4 July 2014 Author Posted 4 July 2014 How much is the goal line technology going to cost us? Not sure, the Finance Director said the cost of the things that we HAD to change to comply with PL rules was £1.4m so it'll be included within that. It's already been installed though.
