Finnegan Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 I'm sure they aimed for the lampost and the tree. It's tragic that somebody died, nobody deserves that, even if they were being reckless. But have you seen that wreck?! Porsches don't just throw themselves at lamposts and disintegrate. They must have been doing something pretty retarded.
indierich06 Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 It's very unfortunate that people like you have freedom of speech on the Internet, but such is the modern world. What? He can't say a shit film's shit? All of those Fast & Furious films are crap.
SystonFox Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 I've never seen the films cos they look dog shite. Rip to the guy and all that it's sad when anyone dies. Facebook is a no go zone since yesterday it's full of "1 like = 1 respect" do one!
purpleronnie Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Anyone over 12 who thinks those films are decent needs to sort themselves out. Don't worry about Samilktray he likes kanye west. Very sad news though.
Jimothy Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 I've never seen the films cos they look dog shite. Rip to the guy and all that it's sad when anyone dies. Facebook is a no go zone since yesterday it's full of "1 like = 1 respect" do one! Facebook is terrible right now. People liking every single RIP Paul Walker page. People changing their profile picture to him. People commenting on things with lines like "Always in our hearts" and stuff like that. It's a way too far, he's a 2 bit actor from a shit film series that these people have never met and probably never gave a second thought to outside of the hour and a half spent watching each of those films. It's sad he's died, he was young and it's always a shock when celebrities die at a young age. He's left young kids behind too so that's sad. But the way some of the people on Facebook are going on is way to far, and I find it odd. I've never reacted this way at the early death of a celebrity I like.
SystonFox Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Exactly. And to make matters worse we have had a tragedy of our own in Britain recently where 9 people lost their lives and they leave families etc but how many posts have you seen about that? I've seen two myself
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 He wasn't driving.. He wasn't, but it's almost certain he was a willing participant - there's a black and white photo of him doing the rounds with a quote of his that says something like "If I die in a car crash don't mourn for me 'cause I was doing what I love and driving like a mental-case is what God put me on this Earth for. PS sorry if I hit anyone, didn't mean to LOLLLLLLOOOL" Judging from the shape that Porsche was in, it must have been going monumentally stupid speeds
The Year Of The Fox Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 I don't want to seem unsympathetic but the name is not familiar to me/ I'd never heard of him either til yesterday.
Jon the Hat Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 I'd never heard of him either til yesterday. Likewise. Actually here I am typing at the bottom of the thread and I cant recall his name.
ADK Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 I thought he might be something to do with walkers crisps.
StanSP Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 It's tragic that somebody died, nobody deserves that, even if they were being reckless. But have you seen that wreck?! Porsches don't just throw themselves at lamposts and disintegrate. They must have been doing something pretty retarded. Yes I have seen that wreck. But even if they were racing and going extremely fast, I don't think they knew they were going to kill themselves that day
SystonFox Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Yes I have seen that wreck. But even if they were racing and going extremely fast, I don't think they knew they were going to kill themselves that day Driving at silly speeds everyone should realise the consequences. If you don't take your own life you're likely to take another human beings. Whether he was driving or not is irrelevant. He was in the car and had some responsibility too
Jimothy Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Yes I have seen that wreck. But even if they were racing and going extremely fast, I don't think they knew they were going to kill themselves that day What an odd thing to say. I don't think anyone who dies doing extremely stupid or dangerous things thinks they are going to die the day they do, but by putting themselves in a position for their life to be ended the sympathy kind of dampens a little. If they had been driving normally and crashed into another car, or off cliff, then yeah I would feel more sympathy. It's like when Michael Hutchence of INXS died hanging himself to near death for sexual pleasure. I'm sure he didn't think he would die, just thought he'd have fantastic orgasm and everything would be fine, but it went wrong and he died. He did something stupid and dangerous for enjoyment and it went wrong, not much sympathy from me I'm afraid.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 And there I was about to buy a Porsche. Think I'll stick to the Astra for now
Zingari Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 And there I was about to buy a Porsche. Think I'll stick to the Astra for now i think it was colliding with the lamp post rather than the make of vehicle that was the major factor in his sad demise . buy the Porsche and avoid hitting lampposts and you'll be fine

I just thought phrasing it the way ADK did, 'kill themselves' sounds a bit too much like it was suicide and there intention was to crash. Perhaps I was a bit too flippant in my reply to him. But I do agree with both.

Bellend Sebastian Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 i think it was colliding with the lamp post rather than the make of vehicle that was the major factor in his sad demise . buy the Porsche and avoid hitting lampposts and you'll be fine I'd destroy Porsche sales if I owned one. You'd get people moaning about getting stuck behind one that wouldn't go above the speed limit
Zingari Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 I'd destroy Porsche sales if I owned one. You'd get people moaning about getting stuck behind one that wouldn't go above the speed limit i'd be shouting at you to slow down and demanding you get a man with a red flag to walk in front of you to keep you at a safe speed !
ADK Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 I wasn't suggesting it was a suicide. It was stupid and reckless and completely unnecessary.
foxfanazer Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 I'd honestly never heard of him and didn't recognise his face in pictures. The car looked horrific
Stadt Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 The sympathy bandwagon is a strange one, people on Facebook think that liking a page is 'respectful' or whatever but it isn't.
