He's been waiting in the wings for months, like I've said 3-4 losses and Suedeheads gone.

Anything can happen in football, did anyone see the Clarke sacking coming at WBA.

Now he would be a good shout for us.

Steve Clarke will end up back with Mourinho

I ****ing hope so!!

Nothing against nigel completely.

I just Fvcking LOVE Neil Warnock.

He would get us up, We wouldnt be a soft touch anymore.

Happily welcome him.

Leeds?

....QPR?

spent about £1,000,000 and took them from a relegation squad to champions, Average age of the squad was about 60 lol  :P

What about it,

Done a quality job under the circumstances...

Ken bates as chairman giving you absolutely nothing to spend, then telling the papers he gave you money... - Source (He's done it to everyone)

If you read into it, The fans hated bates...

Neil warnock pretty much single handedly sold the club to the richer owners they have now, who are prepared to invest

"On the takeover of Leeds United by Bahrain based company GFH Capital in December 2012, the company stated Warnock was one of the reasons they took over Leeds United.[27]"

This takeover which should have taken 6 weeks took about 7-8 months, Putting pressure on him to Sell their best players to raise funds to buy some new faces...

Unfortunately for the bloke this did not work out for him, and he had them in a dangerous position and they parted company,

Which is a worrying point. HOWEVER, It was the same as the Clough Era, N C done all the ground work, then Mcclaren came in and got them playing, Warnock done the groundwork at leeds, then  McDermott  came in and had them playing...

It just didnt work out for him, Much like Paolo Sousa at us, Quality manager, didnt work out..

So I agree this is probably a risk and a knee jerk reaction to sack the manager who has us at the top end of the table, for a manager who may fail with us, But my personal preference is that I love the guy!

Watch the documentaries on him at sheffield united (It's on youtube) and there is a QPR documentary called "4 Year plan" I think it might change your mind on the bad mouthed willy puller most people see him as, He's a top bloke really, but ****ing passionate about his teams!

Again I'm not saying nigel deserves to be sacked, But I would welcome NW...

His successes do not lie.

Is that against the forum rules? Can you be banned for it?

At the very least it should be deleted, it's horribly offensive.

Watching us lose 1-0 at Leeds last season was the most depressing away I've been to in years. Warnock's teams are set up to time waste, feign injury, foul the opposition and spoil the game. He even instructs the ball boys to waste time.

I'm with the poster above. If Warnock came here I'd be devastated.

His general style of play is attacking football, Always has been. Most recently using the 4-2-3-1.

His team was not set up to waste time, feign injury foul the opposition and spoil the game.

It's proper football, Into the box, TACKLE, BANG. FOOK OFF.

Shame our players rarely show that passion and sherk tackles all the time, as NW famously quotes "You've gotta ****ing die to get 3 points"

We couldnt handle leeds, and blamed warnock for it, The reason we couldnt handle them is because they were a strong team, and we are weak...

Same with every team that play with passion, we cannot handle them in the middle of the park, and drop off them in defence, whilst the strikers get isolated because they cannot handle a strong tackle..

It's not fouling, It's good old fassion tackling, a proper centre half, proper battling midfielder..

Just my opinions of course, But I miss the Steve walsh, matty elliotts etc.. We have nothing like that anymore, The game has changed and sped up, But that doesnt mean you cannot have old fassion styles of proper football. dedication for the team. look at stoke.

I'd put £100 on the fact you didn't even go to Leeds away.

I didn't say we deserved anything at Leeds, we were crap. But I'd rather not have a Manager who instills those values in a club, and sets a team up to play that way at home.

To play what way?

Look at the players he inherited, What other way could a manager have played? Leeds had one of the worst teams in the league on paper, With 2 exceptions...

We were ****ing shite, and if I scaled through the forum and found the thread from that game, I quite remember everyone saying "We were out battled and out thought, Tactically we were shit"

We hardly pull up any trees the way we set out, we play passing football, But it's hardly inspiring, Loft the ball over the top for the last 45 mins if we are losing,

Absolutely ****ing disgraceful 90% of our games in the first 45 mins?

Like I said to another poster, Look at QPR, He had them playing some absolutely  mesmerizing  football, Turned tarrabt into an absolute wizard, And would do the same with knockaert, He spotted young players and turned them into forces... Everyone was banging on about Sam byram at  Leeds, Spotted by warnock, Adel Taraabt at QPR, Turned from a heap of shit into championship player of the year by warnock..

He gets the best from players, He  inherited  **** ALL at  Leeds, and was told to sell the best 2 players, the money he got from those sales was slashed by bates, and he was given about a million to revamp the squad?

I am biased as I have followed NW since his Sheffield united days, But if you read up on him, buy his book, or watch documentaries on him or teams he's been at, you'll see a different man than you assume...

Good manager. Would take us up first time IMO.

I'm sure Warnock has his fans.  City are my team, years ago I watched an interview with Warnock on TV when he made 'uncomplimentary remarks' about City.  I've disliked him ever since.  Even if it had been another club it's not good to broadcast a bad message about them to the nation.

Well Nigel isn't losing his job anytime soon so this is irrelevant.

And isn't Warncock 'retired'?

His successes do not lie.

It's not always worked out for him.

He's never lasted more than a year in the Premier League (relegated with Notts County and Sheffield United, sacked by QPR). And his successes have not always been so clear-cut: It took him six years to get Sheffield United promoted and, of course, it never happened with Leeds or Palace.

If we're looking for instant automatic promotion and are willing to give him the benefit of the doubt (he is 65, hated by Leicester fans and retired now) then we might think twice upon deeper analysis of his record: over the past fifteen years he's taken one side up instantly, failed with four more more, and taken over half a decade with another.

Compare that with Pearson's five or six years as a manager (one instant promotion, two play-offs) andl it's doubtful we'd be better off.
