Not going to boo him. Don't think he deserves it.

Not his fault an idiot brought him for twice his value then gave him ridiculous wages - same applies to Mills.

Bloke on radio complaining about Beckford celebrating.... He just punched the air and the amount of stick the crowd gave him I'm surprised he didn't curse at us. Thought he handled it well to be fair

Doesn't deserve it. Just ignore him completely, didn't do anything particularly wrong himself, so of course he doesn't deserve to be booed. Feel free to boo a Wayne Brown or a Dennis Wise, but booing Beckford is a bit ridiculous.

wayne brown needs booing all the time and then punching in the face and wise just needs burning at the stake

Yeah he scored today, but also showed every reason why we got rid. Was never worth the money we paid for him, or what he was paid.

Clapped both sets of supporters before and after the game. Was overpaid for but his agent did his job and our execs didn't do their job, properly.

 

His style of play is not endearing if he isn't scoring, if he does score you can live with it.

 

The brief moments I was in his presence outside the ground he came across as a pleasant bloke who had time for fans.

 

He'll go down as a bad guy because he is a symbol of reckless spending and failure but not really for anything he personally did.

Yeah if you give it you have to take it back. I gave him stick so wasn't too upset when he celebrated, I'd have gone a lot more mental than him if I was in his position.

 

Did make me laugh when he clapped L/K at the end and everyone just gave him the willy puller sign haha.

Personally thought it was actually embarrassing the way our fans treated him. At the end of the day as others said he got offered shit loads of money he just couldn't live up to it, i mean come on who in their right mind would turn down a rediculous salary like he got.

Peterborough away when he couldn't be arsed to get up front for a free kick in the dying minutes.... he can fook right off.

When he was the only one back covering for the ball dropping at the half way line. Id say he is overly vilified because people need an exact figure to fire abuse at for that shit period of our recent history .

You can tell by his performances, picked up slightly under Nige but not much...

West Ham the other season as one example....

What annoyed me and most people on the terrace that day was that we had a chance late on which would've been a simple tap in for Beckford, except that he bottled it for fear of colliding with the post.

That was a disgrace.

I'd disagree. I'd suggest he was paid an extremely good wage- to score goals. If he was covering/ blowing outta his tits etc... he should have been in the box being a goal down in the last few minutes. Theres no excuse.

His attitude here was pi55 poor.
