Why boo him? He was crap for us, thats all. Move on

Because he's an arrogant overpaid (when at LCFC) useless twat! I hope he gets dogs and let's see how he responds and how strong he is then?

Beckford was crap here but bar the one overplayed incident at Peterborough, I don't think he ever let the side down because of his attitude. He's actually a very nice guy.

Sometimes things just don't work out.

did you go west ham?

Times have changed but a few decades back Beckford would have got an early alarm call. Nothing unfair you understand, just something to test the amount of calcium his mother put in his diet or to check the flexibility of his favourite boots.

Sunday will be an afternoon tea party by comparison but I still expect our twin Mean Machine enforcers Moore and Morgan to ambush him and metaphorically feed whatever passes for his heart to any nearby hawks.

What he doesn't need is time to stretch his legs, or space to employ that near-instant backlift that allows him to fire off his bullets so quickly. Cutting the supply will be important but so will instant attention from anywhere within 35 yards of goal.

We seem a bit more vulnerable to individuals than to teams as Connor Wickham's been the latest to demonstrate and it would be nice to come up with a plan to make Beckford seem overdressed in even wearing his boots at all.

I'm sure our centre-backs will keep reminding him how pleased they are to see him again and will emphasise the sincerity of their welcome through the careful consideration of every tackle.

It is, after all, the season of goodwill and I'm quite sure that most good will be done if Beckford doesn't get a kick.

exactly, nowadays IF some fans boo a player the normal reponse is to call those fans 'tinpot' or something equally meaningless.  Players have never had it so good on and off the pitch.

Not going to boo him. Don't think he deserves it.

Not his fault an idiot brought him for twice his value then gave him ridiculous wages - same applies to Mills.

Of course he wouldn't, but he had a job to do and did it well. It wasn't pretty but it was effective. He's not Morgan's quality, or Moore's level, but we couldn't afford any better back then and Brown fitted into the team for a while.

I thought he was bloody awful and a bit of a wimp too which was surprising, given his size.

That could describe many players we've had over the years, doesn't mean I'm going to boo them all.

Talking about Wayne Brown, not Beckford

Exactly. It's a shame most of our fans can't see this though.

Couldn't have been that bad considering he played 39 games out 46 in a team which had the 4th best defence.

Fair enough you don't like him but don't make out he was bad defender in a team that was virtually made up of free transfers.

Just wish our fans would use more energy getting behind our current players.

Instead of winding up ex players that then score against us ffs.

But he was. He was woeful.

I'll boo both before the game when teams are read out but that'll be it.

To think we shelled out over 8m on those 2 clowns...

Not bothered about Mills. Born here in leics actually, but didnt work out for him, save the goal at southampton. Beckford? Bit of a cock and was an almost man here. He almost hit it off with Nudge.. That said he scored hatrick againt Forest that shouldn't go forgotten.. Dont think either are worth too much "reject"attention personally . 3 points more important.
