21st Century Fox Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Interesting. He started the season as KAA Gent's first choice keeper. Played 10, conceded 15, 1 clean sheet (4 of those goals were against Anderlecht). Then got dropped mid-October for Sergio Padt, who's played 11, conceded 14 with 3 clean sheets. It looks as if Boechx's contract is up at the end of the season and Gent have 4 other keepers on their books. .... in case anyone was wondering.

All I'm saying is I can't believe we have let Smith go out on loan without having some sort of backup plan - Smiths loan is only for a month so maybe we will risk going with just 2 keepers on the assumption we can recall him at short notice. At some point soon we will have to sign a replacement for Kasper and / or Logan so maybe now is as good as time as ever ?

Yesterday I was at the Antwerp - Moeskroen game, the fans were happy that Boeckx refused their club. They think he's just not good enough, and I agree. Frank 'The Tank' Boeckx. In Anderlecht we call him Frank 'The Beer Tank' Boeckx. I hope for you guys Leicester doesn't sign him

Forget that it's no worse than kasper has done! That's the problem with foreign players... They could be absolutely anything... A 30 goals striker from France could be a 0 goal striker in England ... It's easy to get carried away, mahrez could be shit or could be the next Leicester legend... Let's hope it's the latter!
