Guest bss9401 Posted 12 January 2014 Posted 12 January 2014 For me it is genuinely more exiting and enjoyable having 3 rivals. I get as pumped up when we play any one of them. It is only more specific if we play one of them more times over a stretch of seasons.

They both like to pretend they don't hate us but we all know they secretly do. If they really didn't give a shit they wouldn't feel the need to tell us all the time. It's like they think that actually bothers us. To me Derby are irrelevant anyway, It's hard to call it a decent rivalry when you beat them all the time, It's Forrest I can't stand.

I enjoy local derbies and the banter that goes with them, it'd be a shame if we had to clutch at straws and see our local derbies as Villa and West Brom next season.

I totally agree, i dont care whether they hate us or not. I do hate them but love the games between us, so i hope they come up with us, should we make it ourselves.

I won't be clutching at straws with them, we've never been rivals with West Brom and Villa we hated about 15 years ago and that's it. I can't see anyone making them out to be derbies. I think we'll have enough big games to occupy us. I do look forward to games with Forest and Derby of course, but a couple of years without them isn't going to break my heart.

It's weird for me too, Forest have never felt like a 'real' rivalry but I still despise their fans and want to beat them every time, but only because they're so embarrasing. The clinging onto their past success and even moreso, the constant insistence that they don't care about us is so pathetic. They actually make threads about how little they care about us I don't mind admitting I don't like them, if only they'd do the same it would be less embarassing but the fact that they always want to beat us while at the same time wanking over how they only care about Derby is just so cringeworthy.
