I wrote this song.  Its the best I can do in tribute to the team's spirit this year.  If you all like it I'll have it properly sung.  It needs a proper vocalist.

Crossing my fingers - I might actually be able to get there for a game before its allover this year.   :)  Maybe Blackpool on March 15th perhaps.

Superb mate! Always appreciate musicians!

Theres no need for other posters to take the piss out of your voice, you even say in your comments its not properly sung!

Did you get Dave Murray to guest star for that little solo!?

The fellow playing all the instruments is an old rocker from Poole who does recordings for people's songs for hire named Nigel Cuff.  I'd like to hear it sung with some proper accents and with a group.  If you have some singers who want to do it I'll make it happen.

This is far too american for me! We don't do shit like that over here, it's cringe! Sorry :/

The production is a bit Nickelback I suppose, but it is a British guy who recorded it for what it's worth.  I wonder if the bones of the song are good if done in a proper style?  I'm always open to inputs to try and make it better or make a proper 'Leicester' anthem. On most songs collaboration can make them better.

Is this a gag? Surely that isn't your real singing voice?

There is a reason I don't sing my own songs, but instead I usually write for artists who can actually sing!   But doing a soccer anthem is an odd genre, but I thought I'd give have a go.

Dude , you can't sing for shit .

Your analysis is spot on.  I usually get to sing my songs just one time only- for the artists and producers who actually make them sound good.

I forgot how many twats there are on here, seriously, just take cheap pot shots at someone trying to do something, rather than offering some constructive criticism. He has even said he can't sing, but offering to do some production if anyone else fancies a go, but it is much easier to play the hilarious keyboard critic than actually contribute anything.

As for the song, it's a good song, but as someone said it is way too American to catch on over here especially as a terrace anthem, and lacks a shouty sing-a-long chorus, it is hard to say that what makes certain songs or riffs catch on, god knows why everything is bloody Sloop John B at the moment.

You want something people will sing on the terraces you will do much better with simpler repetitive lyrics and maybe some "na na na"s or "woah"s, and make it so the chorus can be repeated ad infinitum, because nobody will learn the verses, obviously not always the case, I remember hearing Espanyol fans singing along to Moonlit shadow, and some fans are capable of singing a full song, just not ours. If you can incorporate a signature drum beat as well for Jobber to get people going on it, and sing it really fast, none of our fans can keep time, then you might have a hit on your hands.

Thanks.  My mother grew up right across the road from Filbo, but I haven't lived in the UK for years. I heard similar songs being pitched for the Chicago Cubs on the radio, but as you said, perhaps simpler is better fora football song and look for that lyrical hook in the chorus that can be repeated.  If anyone had something that is close but needs a little songwriting help, please just ask.  I might be able to add a melodic hook or help you reword something so it works.  I've done a fair bit of 'serious amateur' songwriting.
