cjslcfc Posted 31 January 2014 Author Posted 31 January 2014 Sky were saying that Bruce said they've accepted bids from 3 clubs. That'll be Forest, Reading and Wigan though won't it?
Harry - LCFC Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 really i dont rate Keane as much as people do on here dont really see the hype.He is to weak and needs to bulk up as shown against Derby got pushed and to error prone.Liam Moore is streets ahead of him.I hope we dont sign him I don't understand how opinion has shifted so greatly in 8 months. He seems to be seen as incapable by many now, that certainly wasn't the case when memories of him were fresh in people's minds. Not really interested in responding to this, switches me off completely when people use a laughing face to respond to something I've said.
hackneyfox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Doesn't look like Hobbs wants to come back, he's already turned us down once this season hasn't he? Perhaps NFP isn't interested

We are all hoping we will be a Premiership team next season and be better than Hull. Why should we want a Hull City reject?
NathanC93 Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 We are all hoping we will be a Premiership team next season and be better than Hull. Why should we want a Hull City reject? Not really the case... they play Alex Bruce, I would rather Hobbs than him.
MikeyT Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Sky were saying that Bruce said they've accepted bids from 3 clubs. That'll be Forest, Reading and Wigan though won't it? Would highly think so, yes.
Guest Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Is Keane any less experienced than Moore? If you're good enough, you're old enough. Keane definitely is In your opinion. When I see him play he seems to make several mistakes a game. He has potential but I doubt he ever becomes a Manure regular unless of course Moyes takes them down to the championship. He's around SSL level.
artursteppe Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Not really the case... they play Alex Bruce, I would rather Hobbs than him. My views are born out of aspiration, expectation and hope. I do not give a sh1t whether Bruce prefers Bruce or Hobbs. I want better than both!!!!!!!
hackneyfox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Not really the case... they play Alex Bruce, I would rather Hobbs than him. Do people seriously believe that Steve Bruce the manager of a PL club would risk all the money the PL gives by playing his son if he seriously believed that Hobbs was any better?
Babylon Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Do people seriously believe that Steve Bruce the manager of a PL club would risk all the money the PL gives by playing his son if he seriously believed that Hobbs was any better? Having seen both of them play for us, do you really think Bruce is any better than Hobbs?

He can believe what he likes all I said was I think Hobbs is better
hackneyfox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Having seen both of them play for us, do you really think Bruce is any better than Hobbs? He can believe what he likes all I said was I think Hobbs is better They both played for us some time ago, I'd have hoped they have both improved. I'd honestly trust a manager like Bruce to have a better idea of a players potential than we have basing it on how they played for us some time ago, especially as Bruce was only on loan.

No other manager seems to share Steve's high opinion of his own son... 2004–2005 Blackburn Rovers 0 (0) 2004–2005 → Oldham Athletic (loan) 6 (0) 2005–2006 Birmingham City 6 (0) 2005 → Oldham Athletic (loan) 6 (0) 2005 → Sheffield Wednesday (loan) 6 (0) 2005 → Tranmere Rovers (loan) 11 (0) 2006–2010 Ipswich Town 115 (2) 2010 → Leicester City (loan) 3 (0) 2010–2012 Leeds United 29 (1) 2011 → Huddersfield Town (loan) 3 (0) 2012– Hull City
MrSpaM Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Says in the mercury today we aren't going to sign him, NP not expecting anybody in by the end of the day
Number 6 Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Actually think any of those 3 clubs would be a good move for Hobbs, arguably better moves than coming to us.

I never rated him that much in the first place he was one of the reasons why we let in goals last season thank god we never got him this season. Were much better with out him.

RedHux Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 It seems personal terms are not being met and he is either hanging on for better from elsewhere or is staying in Hull.
ollielcfc Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 It seems personal terms are not being met and he is either hanging on for better from elsewhere or is staying in Hull. Wow, this deal has been so back+forth! Where you thinking he'll end up?
RedHux Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 He'll probably stay put, run out his contract and get a bumper signing on fee in the summer.
JJS84 Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 He'll probably stay put, run out his contract and get a bumper signing on fee in the summer. surely hull wont allow him to stay? after this whole fiasco, I thought the point was that his leaves the club permanently
Happy Fox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 We may have the money to do this deal with Waghorn's loan deal to Wigan.
StanSP Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 We may have the money to do this deal with Waghorn's loan deal to Wigan. I think we have the money regardless. Waghorn can't be on that much.
Guest Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 surely hull wont allow him to stay? after this whole fiasco, I thought the point was that his leaves the club permanently If only it was that easy we'd have got rid of several players last year.
JJS84 Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 If only it was that easy we'd have got rid of several players last year. granted, and i understand your point. I am working on the basis however that steve bruce, this morning, stated that bids have been accepted and that jack would be going to one of those clubs before the window shuts. from those words I took that him staying at hull was not an option, and might have been made clear to him.
