jammie82uk Posted 5 February 2014 Posted 5 February 2014 Both clubs have to agree to it. Sorry Bert but you are wrong on this 26.2 Any dispute between two or more Clubs as to the arrangement of League Matches shall be referred to and decided by the Executive, and the Executive shall have absolute discretion in that respect. All re-arrangements of League Matches must be submitted to and approved by the Executive.

We are under no obligation to accept a change in date. @OfficialFOXES: Due to @Official_NFFC's progress in the #FACup tonight, #lcfc's @SkyBetChamp trip to the City Ground moves to Tue 18 Feb (KO 7.45pm).
Happy Fox Posted 5 February 2014 Posted 5 February 2014 Thank f**King heavens I would have been screwed if it was on the Wednesday.

I know we are under no obligation That's what I was saying but IF forest asked for it to be move we could only object to it the football league would have the final say
Happy Fox Posted 5 February 2014 Posted 5 February 2014 Poor old Redshite too many games should of thought about that when deciding to progress in the FA Cup!
Leicester Lass Posted 5 February 2014 Posted 5 February 2014 I know we are under no obligation That's what I was saying but IF forest asked for it to be move we could only object to it the football league would have the final say Wrong. The date was already agreed, meaning there was no possible dispute over it. IF Forest asked for it to be moved, we would have to agree, and only out of goodwill rather than being obliged to. No need for the football league to get involved seeing as there has already been a date set and agreed by both parties. It's tough luck for Forest, there's nothing they can do if we don't agree to a change.

Leicester Lass Posted 5 February 2014 Posted 5 February 2014 I think we are gonna have to agree to disagree on this What is there to disagree about? The date is agreed between the two clubs - there can be no disputes about it, and therefore there is no reason for the football league to get involved. If Forest moan about the date it doesn't class as a dispute, as they'd already agreed the Tuesday with us. It's their fault for being short sighted, and probably assuming they'd play Fulham. Simple.
Deucalion Posted 5 February 2014 Posted 5 February 2014 I wonder what Forest's priorities are, FA Cup progression or our league meeting? I would think the latter.
Walshy5 Posted 5 February 2014 Posted 5 February 2014 Maybe their game with Sheff utd will be on Friday night?
TheLeftSide Posted 5 February 2014 Posted 5 February 2014 It'll be on the Wednesday I'd imagine, the club haven't got grounds to refuse unless they've got an ace up their sleeve!
Leicester Lass Posted 5 February 2014 Posted 5 February 2014 It'll be on the Wednesday I'd imagine, the club haven't got grounds to refuse unless they've got an ace up their sleeve! Why? We've agreed the date with them as Tuesday, we have no need to budge whatsoever. Forest must have a minimum of 48 hours between games, which they do given the evening kick off on Tuesday. That's that. No need for an ace up our sleeve when the other club is a Joker.
Storming Posted 5 February 2014 Posted 5 February 2014 Their cup game is already on BBC Sports as Sun 3pm if they want to play wed do a deal another 2,000 tickets or sod off
lancyclaret Posted 5 February 2014 Posted 5 February 2014 It'll be on the Wednesday I'd imagine, the club haven't got grounds to refuse unless they've got an ace up their sleeve! Hope this turns out fact - Burnley are at home to Forest on Feb 22 - just 3 days after they play you in what I hope will be a hard-fought and physical derby match. ) Would not wish injury on any player, but maybe you can provoke Andy Reid into getting himself sent off?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 5 February 2014 Posted 5 February 2014 Fooking better not be the Wednesday after it has already been agreed I'll be ****ed if true
Kyle_Le_Don Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 They have been absolutely piss poor we would muller these c**Ts. Didn't get to watch the game, sure it weren't a tactic to play shit? Or were they just plain shit! Haha
