Silverdaz Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 Why would you think Dyer has to be dropped for me it would be a direct replacement for Knockaert, Mahrez for Knockaert
KFS Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 Why would you think Dyer has to be dropped for me it would be a direct replacement for Knockaert, Mahrez for KnockaertKnockaert was brilliant against Bournemouth. He'll play against Watford and score.
cjslcfc Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 Let's not drop anyone ffs. We've just won 9 in a row we don't need to make changes unless they're necessary! For what it's worth De Laet is apparently the quickest. To think Dyer, Vardy and Mahrez aren't our quickest is something!

I've asked DeLaet..pre Mahrez..he said(tongue in cheek)..that they all knew who was fastest. Dyer,Vardy have good acceleration..but once DeLaet gets going,he can move..deceptively fast. I'd like to see Knockaert in the race too..for some reason..the image of him running the length of the pitch full pelt, makes me chuckle.
nickelbyfox Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 I would say drop Dyer but with the pace with the likes of Anya - bombing on the counter will need his pace IMO. I would honestly play Schlupp for this game with his extra pace.
Master Fox Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 I watched the U21 highlights the other day. I thought he looked pretty average.
J.Lisemore Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 doubt it dyer would rip casseti to shreds If they're manager had any sense about him, he wouldn't start Cassetti on Saturday.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 I watched the U21 highlights the other day. I thought he looked pretty average. I went to the u21 and the highlights flatter him

His legs just make him look like he's going far slower than he actually is.
blue army 1988 Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 After winning 9 in a row an unforced change to the starting line up would be mental.

sylofox Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 Mahrez is better tbh id keep dyer in till we lose then mahrez can jump in mix things up a little That would do Dyer the world of good dropping him cos we lose. So you have already made up your mind Dyer will be at fault if we lose. Sure you will make a great manager one day.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 Mahrez is better tbh id keep dyer in till we lose then mahrez can jump in mix things up a little Wtf? if we lose it won't be just Dyer's fault if his fault at all, blaming him for a future defeat is ridiculous. It is a team game and Dyer has been influential in this side...
Macca7716 Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 Whats the point in resting anyone when we have a 10 day break after this??
Lobsterboyuk Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 Will be very surprised if Mahrez starts ahead of Dyer who has had a pretty decent season so far.
Guest Col city fan Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 Some people are at it again. Why change a winning side? And drop Dyer? What! Im surprised I've not seen anyone wanting to being King in for James yet. Will be very surprised if Mahrez starts ahead of Dyer who has had a pretty decent season so far. Pretty decent! Dyer has had a fantastic season.
KIRBYFOX93 Posted 7 February 2014 Posted 7 February 2014 Dyer is not the future i guarantee when mahrez starts and dyers on the bench you will all be arse licking him... Dyer is a good player at this level but mahrez will be far better...

Coukd be, time will tell, monday night if I remember correct he beat no one with the ball which is not a good start for a winger, that said he looked lost in the first half so let's at least give him time to settle
cityfanlee23 Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 all this "don't break a winning team" bollocks is ridiculous... It's 1 player.... Mahrez deserves a chance and Lloyd has been off the boil for a few games... Why not.

Mahrez deserves a chance and Lloyd has been off the boil for a few games... Why not. Because Dyer hasn't been 'off the boil' for a few games. He's been a crucial part of a side that's won 9 on the spin. Unless injured, you keep the side who has got you that run. Why on earth change it?
Candidcamera Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 There is a great deal to say ... but Dyer has been outstanding and the team need keeping together. Mahrez will come on especially in home games and Dyer is the first choice. He has had an outstanding season evening improving his goal tally. There would be a settling in period for Mahrez and we need to keep churning out the results. Great signing though and the increased competition will suit Dyer. He is a top player too.
Nalis Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Whats the point in resting anyone when we have a 10 day break after this?? I agree, we start squad rotating when the midweek fixtures start piling up.
