Jimmy Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Vardy for me, we definitely took off the wrong striker
leicesterisme Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Vardy for me, we definitely took off the wrong striker Don't think he really got in the game at all today personally.
Jimmy Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Don't think he really got in the game at all today personally. in terms of chances no, but he was putting their back 4 under a lot of pressure and was our main threat, we lost a lot IMO when he went off, James made too many errors for me to be MOTM
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Sometimes I really question what games some people are watching. I know it's a subjective sport, matter of opinions etc. But how can Drinkwater have 7 votes? He gave the ball away more in 90 minutes than he has in the last 10 games previous, missed a few tackles and headers. Yes he did score an absolute corker, but that doesn't warrant MOTM. And DeLaet was almost entirely at fault for the 2nd goal, trying to be too cleaver shielding the ball but wasn't physically strong enough.

That was certainly part of the game that I saw today, Hirsty. Looks like I'm almost on my own in thinking that Knocky had a really good game today, though. A point gained, not 2 lost, in the circumstances. Shame Nuge didn't finish that late chance, but Drinky's late equaliser should ensure morale and confidence are still good.

Knockaert was brilliant- nothing really came off for him today but his endeavour and braveness in always wanting the ball was second to none. He never gave up.
lgfualol Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Everyone frustrated me but the guys at the back, and Drinkwater. Vardy was okay but not his best. Knocky was brilliant then the next minute he'd do something ridiculous and then stand there with his arms in the air instead of helping.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 9 February 2014 Posted 9 February 2014 Vardy Drinky and Konch were class IMO. Drinky and Vardy were the only players who looked like they wanted it in the first half. Konch defended brilliantly though

Konch defended brilliantly though Agree with you on Konchesky, and I'm baffled as to some of his low ratings by some supporters. Bar a couple of dodgy moments early on, he defended superbly. Best game he's had in ages. Never seen him have so much of the ball either
davieG Posted 9 February 2014 Author Posted 9 February 2014 I don't think anyone was outstanding so it's inevitable that people will be pulled towards an individual event to either give a positive or negative spin on a player. They all made mistakes but they didn't all lead to goals against, like wise they all contributed to some good play but not everyone lead to our goals. I thought Konchesky had a pretty faultless game without doing anything special.
Corky Posted 9 February 2014 Posted 9 February 2014 Knockaert really did try his best to make things happen, moving around the pitch, switching wings, trying short passes, spreading play. Thought he was our best. Konchesky as well tried to contribute by getting forward. The CM weren't as good as they have been, despite their excellent goals.
allotment-fox Posted 9 February 2014 Posted 9 February 2014 gave it Drinkwater in the end I wonder did Vardy ask to come off ! this seems to have changed the last few games with subs at the end keeps us all guessing

Native Fox Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 Knockeart's double Cruyff turn also, my days!!!
