Happy Fox Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 Nah hate them. Depends what position both teams are in, suppose this is the same for ex players who played for both clubs. If both teams are level on points and same goal difference i.e first game of the season.
Mark_w Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 Got huge connections with club my grandfather on my dad's side worked there while my grandfather on my mum's side was a foxes fan. Why not just choose one and have a soft spot for the other? There's something very strange about supporting two clubs, it's not right.
Unabomber Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 Accidentally hit the p key instead of t. f works too.
Leicesterpool Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 If both teams are level on points and same goal difference i.e first game of the season. First game of the season then maybe a narrow win for leicester, to get them off to a winning start.

Guest Bilo Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 Our aspirations will be very similar to Villa's next season if we're promoted; mid-table will be the aim for both clubs, with a relegation dogfight being a danger. A nice little cup run would be handy, but that'll be the extent of both clubs' ambitions. A non-story, especially considering how well thought of Pearson is here.
Kitchandro Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 I wouldn't be shocked to see Pearson go to a club like Villa. Let's not pretend we're as big as them.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 I wouldn't be shocked to see Pearson go to a club like Villa. Let's not pretend we're as big as them. Hello Doug Ellis
crisp monster Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 At the time there was but as the years go back by i think a few more leicester fans have understood the move, Little had said for years even before he was Leicester manager that he one day wanted to go back to Villa as manager. Also i think when MON was in charge at Villa, i think one or two leicester fans wanted to see MON do well. I remember when Simon Grayson joined Villa from us and I didn't understand why as we were a better side than them at the time. Going to Villa park the next season and looking at the stadium/set up etc I could see why he did it.
Fox92 Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 Non story. It's sport direct news. Wouldn't leave personally anyway. We're currently top, he's built the squad up, and Villa have constantly struggled since O'Neill left.
Leicesterpool Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 Pearson does fit the bill for the Villa job, does like to give the younger lads a go and normally does get the best out of them.

We're currently top, he's built the squad up, and Villa have constantly struggled since O'Neill left. Leicester have constantly struggled since O'Neill left, didn't stop him joining us and doing brilliantly. Villa are a bigger club than us, with better player and in a better position financially. It should be a no-brainer, although the Villa fans' ridiculous expectations (see 'O'Neill out, we've only finished 6th three years in a row') are the only thing that could give us a chance of holding on to him if they were interested. Still it's only Sports Direct reporting it, clearly not happening.
Hollism Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 I think the prospect of any job to Pearson (after salary- he's only human) would be security rather than club size, finances available and anything like that. Despite the fact that newly promoted clubs* rarely keep their managers for the full season, I think he'd see sticking with us a much safer option that going to Villa. There are premier league teams that would appeal to him more than us obviously, and it's feasible that he would be considered by them if they had a vacancy, but I'm only say Villa isn't one of them. *Not implying we will get promoted, just that Nige will be gone if we don't.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 I wouldn't be shocked to see Pearson go to a club like Villa. Let's not pretend we're as big as them.Oh here we go again with a size issue
Leicesterpool Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 One worry thing for Leicester is, his contract does run out at the end of the season.
Hollism Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 One worry thing for Leicester is, his contract does run out at the end of the season. like compensation for a Championship manager would stop a club getting the man they think will meet their ambitions, the least of which would be to keep them in the Premier League
Langston Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 Nige is in line for a huge payout if we go up, is he not? Nowt in this.
