Soup Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 I don't even know if I've moved over yet. I did it over the phone but no ticket has been sent to me. Would it be possible to swap my ST seat to the top of SK1 on the day? Also will there be a charge moving from N1? You should have been sent a ticket.I'd ring again tomorrow m8 and see if you can pick it up on the day.Regarding the price a ST in the kop is £450,or £400 if bought early. Is that the same for N1.
steveherbe Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 Rethink for us, local hero it is. Right sound of town for us. We'll see you in the ground.
cityfanlee23 Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 Rethink for us, local hero it is. Right sound of town for us. We'll see you in the ground. I am parking at the dry dock (right side of town to get back to newmarket and avoid the 1 way) Normally would go to the local hero, Is the kings far then??

cityfanlee23 Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 Can we get "WE SHALL NOT WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED" going in SK1? Obviously change the words but these are the traditional celtic ones... We shall not, we shall not be moved,We shall not, we shall not be moved. Not by the Hearts, the Hibs or the Rangers,We shall not be moved! Thoughts?? We shall not, we shall not be moved,We shall not, we shall not be moved. Not by the Rams, the Leeds or the Forest scum,We shall not be moved! Kings is further on into town, away from the ground - I think. Oh right, I'll make the journey if that is where everyone is going, But the local hero seems more logical to me... Big enough.. And just outside the ground
steveherbe Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 Is it saffron lane atletics stadium we can park at?

cityfanlee23 Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 No more Celtic/Palace/flavour of the month songs please. We've got plenty of our own already! The celtic footage was just because I knew it would be easy to find... With regard to We shall not be moved, It's sung by hundreds of clubs.. I don't get all this "Celtic/Palace" stuff.. Most of it came from abroad...+ our fans are completely inadequate at coming up with any songs of OUR OWN... All we do is change the words to the mainstream football chants just like every club in the country... We probably have only a few of our own songs.. and they are either outdated or rubbish in most respects..

So how about we give them a chance eh?
cityfanlee23 Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 We have a shitload of great traditional LCFC chants that never get sung! So how about we give them a chance eh? Read my reply back and it seemed rather abrupt, Was not meant to appear that way!! What do you recommend? I'm all for that however some of our songs are not "Loud songs" if you like, We need some real traditional ones, that are short and sharp to really belt out... When you start singing the welshman it ends up being too fast and pathetic

When You're Smiling, Bring on the Sunderland and Arsenal, Leicester Score, Forever and Ever etc etc etc

jonthefox Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 I'm bringing these: Just lift your arms up. Same effect.
cityfanlee23 Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 I'm bringing these: Christ, Remember putting them in the cracks of the classroom doors at school, I got caught putting it in there once by the teacher as I was leaving the room, She made me shut the classroom door and everyone in the class had to sit there for an hour with the smell of egg... They hated me!

Would it be possible to swap my ST seat to the top of SK1 on the day? Also will there be a charge moving from N1? Definitely ring up and chase them for the ticket. As for whether relocating costs, I'm told by someone who has relocated from a JTT section that he was told it would be £7 extra but they didn't charge him in the end. Someone else mentioned you get a free move each season but not certain on that. As for which pub people are going to, I don't think it particularly matters as long as people are at the ground by 2.30. I know people are starting early in the King's Head then moving closer to the ground as the day progresses.

Plenty here to be getting on with: http://filbospirit.wordpress.com/union-fs/chant-list/
cityfanlee23 Posted 26 February 2014 Posted 26 February 2014 We all need to wear whistles so we don't lose eachother
Kitchandro Posted 26 February 2014 Posted 26 February 2014 We recognise that it's quite tough to get people to make the commitment to move with no evidence as to what can be achieved in SK1. That is why we have tried to avoid encouraging people to move permanently this far. That said, we applaud those that have and thank them for their support! There is still time for those wanting to give it a go to relocate their seats - or just move over on the day - for Charlton so we are 100% focused on that for now. Hopefully Saturday will be a great success and lead nicely up to the second and third trial games this season: - Friday 4 April vs Sheffield Wednesday - Saturday 19 April vs QPR These games have been chosen deliberately to maximise the time available between games for people to relocate accordingly. More details to be provided closer to the time. Of course, the ultimate ambition is to make this a permanent fixture for the start of next season and plans must be in place by the time season tickets are up for renewal. We would love for the Club to open up a dialogue with us on this as organising such a block is clearly a mammoth task. We would absolutely support your idea in e-mailing the club regarding the aesthetics for the block. We are currently having a group flag made up. If anyone is interested, we are planning a flag-making session or two in March and April. Please e-mail [email protected] if you would be interested in getting involved and we will keep you updated. I don't quite understand what you mean by 'trial games'. What will happen for the other home matches in march?

I would of thought everyone would pop in the local hero as its pretty much outside the ground, I'll be parking at the dry dock, It's on the right side of town to leave and not have to enter the 1-way, So will park up and have breakfast at the boat, Then see what the time is and probably stroll down to the kings, If not go to the Local hero and meet you all in SK1
MATLCFC Posted 26 February 2014 Posted 26 February 2014 I don't quite understand what you mean by 'trial games'. What will happen for the other home matches in march? There is nothing stopping people going to SK1 from now on is there? From what I gather the atmosphere has improved in SK1 in recent games. I think it makes sense to have 'trial' games as it puts a greater emphasis on the game itself and people will hopefully make more of an effort to relocate if they are interested. People might not want to move permanently from other areas for one reason or another at this stage, until they get a feel for what it is like.

Plus you never know how draconian the club reaction will be.
