Certainly are. It's a real shame because no matter how loud the Kop is it won't sound that loud to the away fans. You'll never really get a cauldron of an atmosphere at our ground.

Anyway, I hope this works out and we can at least make some noise at that end of the ground.

I disagree purely because the fact that southampton make a fair amount of noise and their ground is identical to ours?

Have you seen the amount of standers they have?

That is what our ground would be like if they swa.......

People always say that, but whenever we used to sing 'Nigel give us a wave' in L1, I always used to be shocked how early he did it.

I swear someone said once that it was designed so the sound travels onto the pitch?

Heard that too.

It is strange how the players and Pearson can how the fans but the other parts of the ground any hear each other.

I'm sure that's not true. Sound will travel to the pitch in older, better grounds too. It wasn't just the fans who thought Filbert Street was atmospheric, it was often the players as well. So I don't think there's anything special about the way our ground is designed.

It doesn't make sense that if you're sitting in the stands you can't hear it but if you're running around in front of the same stand you can. Surely if the sound is travelling in that direction it won't stop because the roof is directly over your head?

Of course if we sing loud enough people can hear what is being sung, but I never get the feeling that different stands singing can create a rumbling, deafening noise like other grounds can. It certainly seems to take more effort to create a truly loud atmosphere at our stadium.

If it is true it's seems like the person who designed it had the right intentions.....

Like when your gran came back from holiday with an obviously fake Barca top, right idea but you obviously aren't going to wear it.

Their singers are right next to the away fans, not the opposite end.

The bloke in front of me against ipswich turned round and said to us he's moving his season ticket if those dickheads dont shut up lol

Well he had better move then because I'm not moving or shutting up.

When I played in the fans game at the end of last season there was only like 50-75 people there and they were sat at the back of the main stand and I was in goal and could hear them quite clearly, don't know if it was because it was empty though.

You're not the only one that quote annoyed.

Don't think most of the guys in the kop realise what it's for.

I'll gladly drive him to the ticket office tomorrow morning.lol.

Got to love our fanbase. Someone tries to do something positive and people slag it off. L1 can do their thing, whatever that is, If these lads want to set up camp in SK1 and support our team, great.

I hope it works and isn't a let down and I hope it lasts more than just the one game. Would be a shame if it was great for one game then nobody comes back, week after week.

As a seaso in SK1 i'm looking forward to seeing what happens, normally in the Kings at 12.30, you lot best leave room at the bar. Taking over our pubs lol

On a side note IF this is gonna be a regular thing and takes off, I'm Going to email Jim and find out if for next season we can print some banners up to cover the white metal claddings at the back of SK1 and maybe SK2 etc, if anyone on here has a sig or something they would like doing such as the allez blues knocky one etc.

Feel free to PM me and I'll try to put it to the club. I am happy to print them on my companys time if the club allow.

We recognise that it's quite tough to get people to make the commitment to move with no evidence as to what can be achieved in SK1. That is why we have tried to avoid encouraging people to move permanently this far. That said, we applaud those that have and thank them for their support!

There is still time for those wanting to give it a go to relocate their seats - or just move over on the day - for Charlton so we are 100% focused on that for now.

Hopefully Saturday will be a great success and lead nicely up to the second and third trial games this season:

- Friday 4 April vs Sheffield Wednesday

- Saturday 19 April vs QPR

These games have been chosen deliberately to maximise the time available between games for people to relocate accordingly. More details to be provided closer to the time.

Of course, the ultimate ambition is to make this a permanent fixture for the start of next season and plans must be in place by the time season tickets are up for renewal. We would love for the Club to open up a dialogue with us on this as organising such a block is clearly a mammoth task.

We would absolutely support your idea in e-mailing the club regarding the aesthetics for the block. We are currently having a group flag made up. If anyone is interested, we are planning a flag-making session or two in March and April. Please e-mail [email protected] if you would be interested in getting involved and we will keep you updated.

Good luck to you guys il be shouting whilst eating my prawn sandwiches

You sitting with stringer??

Yeah I seen that, find it a bit stupid myself, I'm a STH in K1 and this seems like just the right thing to get the atmosphere going around the whole stadium, if we can get it to carry on,on a larger scale then it might even tempt a few (like myself) to relocate to SK1 for the upcoming seasons.

Seems like its the minority opposing it though.

Can I just ask why you don't join us for this game?? Can you move you ST for a game?

You may have reasons mate so fair enough but if not, With all due respect, we need people to be part of the change, not wait until it's happened then join,

Hope you can come with us mate will be a laugh! :)

It will be a lot harder if we reach the prem. A lot more people will want tickets and the block will not be empty anymore.

Need to get a good core of 50-60 season tickets holders all together then.

I don't think that's that unrealistic.

I agree, however if we are dedicated enough to get this idea going, We can find a way to get the tickets first... Might be a case of sitting by the computer/phone to get tickets the second they come on sale, if not find someone who can!

This.We really need people to relocate before the end of the season. What we don't want is a load of premier league fans next season complaining to the stewards that they can't concentrate on the game.

If we only get 50 season ticket holders come the end of the season I'd be disappointed. Why not a few hundred.

Swans a bit dead and run down mate went last week after a few years without.

what time you arriving. Try the pub or the kings if early enough. If not head to the peel. Much busier.

Then the old ht orange on the way to the ground.

I don't even know if I've moved over yet. I did it over the phone but no ticket has been sent to me. Would it be possible to swap my ST seat to the top of SK1 on the day? Also will there be a charge moving from N1?
