AndWhat? Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Did anyone notice the other night at forest how the fans that were above us to the right picked up immediately on what their A Block was singing? They were loud as fcuk the other night. This SK1 business needs to happen and needs to be the link from L to the Kop. I hope you get the club onside for this. I agree, I think every time we hear L1 we should carry on the song rather than competing. Think L1 should do the same. Not sure if they still do, but when I was in L1 a couple of season ago, the (very) few times we heard the kop sing we used to carry it on.
cityfanlee23 Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Yeah I agree, think we should aim for 2:30 personally, but when I'm in a pub enjoying some beers it might be a bit harder to convince me and all my mates.... Haha I can imagine, Once you get in the stands though mate

We hear the odd, Leicester, Leicester, LEICESTER.
C-man Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 It does happen still. We hear the odd, Leicester, Leicester, LEICESTER. Just doesn't happen very often. The link up is crucial if we want to improve the atmosphere in the ground as a whole.

Are you telling me we are allowed to leave the pub before 2.55, I thought it was against the law.
Union FS Posted 21 February 2014 Author Posted 21 February 2014 We'll be inside the block from 14.30 and encourage all others in SK1 to do the same.
AndWhat? Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Are you telling me we are allowed to leave the pub before 2.55, I thought it was against the law. I've never tried it so I wouldn't know!
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Started cutting and bagging confetti last night, I'll be handing at it before kick off so say hello if I give you lot some without realising.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Started cutting and bagging confetti last night, I'll be handing at it before kick off so say hello if I give you lot some without realising. Remember not to throw the bag. You could have somebody's eye out.

LCFC FOX Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Just wondering, any flyers being handed out tomorrow?
Union FS Posted 22 February 2014 Author Posted 22 February 2014 Morning all, Hope we've all recovered from Wednesday's drama and are looking forward to today's game. Be nice to repeat last season's scoreline in this one! Anyway, to Charlton. Those of you who are coming would be more than welcome to join us in the King's Head just off New Walk from 11:30 onwards. We're also likely to pay a flying visit to the Swan and Rushes on Infirmary Square as the day progresses, but will of course keep you posted. Hopefully we can all get those vocal chords lubricated ahead of us cheering City onto another three points.
Leicester City Gentry Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Sit in G2 in the East Stand myself, but really pleased to see this SK1 effort getting the support that it has. It will definitely prompt a few round my way to chirpse up a bit more because you'll be very visible to us. Don't know if you've noticed but G2 gets pretty full nowadays (Kop End for second half excitement and cheaper than H1 for exactly the same view). We're a prime catchment area for you guys to direct a few chants. The G2 crew is backing you all the way.
elangLCFC Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Have to stay in N1 as the mate I go with can't move his seat but I wish you all the best with this, really hope it goes well

Leicester City Gentry Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Do you know anyone who would re locate for this match? Nah. Everyone is pretty well established where we are, but we welcome the noise from SK1.
ryanlcfc888 Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Gonna go into town and get a few rolls of blue and white tissue paper if everyones okay with that
Soup Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Nah. Everyone is pretty well established where we are, but we welcome the noise from SK1. That shouldn't be an excuse not to move.If people don't want to move then fair enough, but there's no rule to say that you have to stay in the same seat forever.
Lionheart Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Who were the lads at the back of SK1 today, they did a good job of trying to get people singing, they sang virtually throughout the game, fair play to the one in the black Harrington jacket with the dodgy moustache trying to get everyone going.reckon if they keep it up every time it will build.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 I'm on row mm from 32 onwards. I'll be with a couple of non city fans but never mind. Not sure about the pub beforehand though as I'm finishing work at 6 that morning before driving up a little later!
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Gonna go into town and get a few rolls of blue and white tissue paper if everyones okay with that The more the merrier mate, I should have 15 bags or so made up!
