AndWhat? Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 ''Those people will need to be managed very carefully on the day'' People are there to watch a game of football, not under scrutiny for their behaviour. Bit OTT Trying a bit to hard to find something to moan about.
Union FS Posted 28 February 2014 Author Posted 28 February 2014 ''Those people will need to be managed very carefully on the day'' People are there to watch a game of football, not under scrutiny for their behaviour. Bit OTT Admittedly ‘managed’ was a terrible word to use in hindsight – that was clearly not our intention. Our point, that should have been made with more clarity, was that we cannot afford to upset people who are, as you say, just going to watch a game for football. These individuals have as much right as anyone to watch the game in the way they see fit and we hope not to impact upon this. We would like to proactively assist people who may not wish to be involved but find themselves in the area we have decided upon but to do so we need the Club and their stewards’ help.
Tommy G Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Trying a bit to hard to find something to moan about. Not at all you plank Was just a bit of a strange comment to make. I'd be more worried about stewards than other fans, you have to just sneeze and they will be trying to chuck you out Admittedly ‘managed’ was a terrible word to use in hindsight – that was clearly not our intention. Bayfox Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Just find a spare seat once in the ground. If you look like you know where your going stewards dont ask to check ticket once in ground.

You just gave the game away! That's what I do and now they are going to be looking out for guys who are pretending they know where they're going!
1964FOX Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 To be fair the current stewards in our area are very fair and just leave us to stand and sing. The most important thing will be to have no confrontation and do as instructed. Non compliance will draw more attention and more robust stewarding which will easily spiral out of control. Lessons must be learnt from past experiences.

Narborough_fox Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Stewards act on Barclays instructions. Did Barclay not get a new job a while back? Thought he was off the stewarding stuff.
C-man Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 I'm in the next block to Sk1 (see above post) is that going to be near enough does anyone know? I think it's roughly 35 seats away but it looks as though ALL of these are currently empty so you can just walk across!
