Dan Posted 28 March 2014 Author Posted 28 March 2014 I forget that this is £28 for adults. That makes it more impressive really.
Riyad_Suarez Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 What did we charge them, can anyone remember? I thought it was £15. Don't think they took many over 1,500 either. Just shows how impressive our figures for this game are really.

Dan Posted 28 March 2014 Author Posted 28 March 2014 Comparing us to Burnley is a poor shout support wise. They're a small town that punches well above its weight in support terms in my opinion. That said there's no doubting who's end is more impressive all things considered.
Banks Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 Bringing just over 3.000 aren't we?! Pretty good in my opinion, considering prices, tv coverage and early kick off.
Riyad_Suarez Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 Bloody hell, less than I thought. 840 is poor considering their league position at that moment in time AND the ticket prices. Can't wait for tomorrow now. If we get a win this will be a mental away day!
Harry - LCFC Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 I think Burnley have the highest home attendances relative to the population of the town in the country. I imagine something similar applies to away followings so I don't think you can really mock Burnley for 'only' taking 800. This is always why I think Leeds are so, so overrated. With a city of that size you'd expect large followings every game, they don't deserve any praise for it.
DennisNedry Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 3000 is a good following when you consider these 3 important things: - It's on Sky - It's a very early start - People with split loyalty between football and egg chasing will be going to Northampton tomorrow.
LCFC Rennie Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 I agree, Leeds do have quality away support, however when you see the size of their city it should be like that.
............... Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 Row J, would have preferred to be a bit further back!

With a city of that size you'd expect large followings every game, they don't deserve any praise for it. Give over. They've had to watch shit football for years and are still the best fans in the country, pound for pound, in terms of numbers, noise and singing good traditional songs all game.
lestajigs Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 Row J, would have preferred to be a bit further back! I'm f block 5 and ill be standing

Noise-wise maybe but as I've explained, they're given more credit than they deserve for the numbers they take.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 You'll never see me give Leeds credit in anyway whatsoever
Leicesterpool Posted 28 March 2014 Posted 28 March 2014 Arrived in Burnley at just gone twelve. Quite looking forward to this, of for a Chinese tonight
Mattyfox Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 I can't wait for this, I can't sleep too excited, I need to grow up!
Banks Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 500 tickets on the door at Burnley for anyone who fancies going.
Fox92 Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Anybody know the official figure? Sorry for this again, I just like to know and the club never seem to publish it on the OS...
Leicester1884Filbert Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Anybody know the official figure? Sorry for this again, I just like to know and the club never seem to publish it on the OS... apparently 2,850 according to this bloke on twitter.
