Dan LCFC Posted 25 March 2014 Author Share Posted 25 March 2014 Around 2700 sold, so I'm guessing we will have around 3000 for this Bloody hell. Great effort for a 12:15 TV game at that distance even if it is 2nd v 1st.

Simmo86 Posted 25 March 2014 Share Posted 25 March 2014 Up to 3,000 Foxes fans are set to make the early-morning trip to Turf Moor ahead of Saturday’s crunch top-of-the-table clash with Sky Bet Championship promotion rivals Burnley. As a thank you to the away support, and to create a sea of blue behind Nigel Pearson’s league leaders at the home of their nearest rivals in the promotion race, the Club will give away an exclusive blue t-shirt to each supporter that has purchased an away ticket for the game. These will be distributed at the turnstiles at Burnley, prior to kick off. The Club will also be serving a complimentary breakfast for the Leicester City ‘Blue Army’ next Saturday. With official Fox Travel coaches set to depart King Power Stadium at 8am ahead of a 12.15pm kick-off, the Club will be serving hot, hand-carved bacon rolls with tea and coffee in the Walkers Hall from 7am, free of charge for all match ticket holders. Supporters travelling by car will also have a chance to fuel-up for the day, with service continuing to match ticket holders until 9am. City Ambassador Alan Birchenall said: “Our away support has been absolutely fantastic this season and I know Nigel and the team will travel up to Burnley with great confidence, knowing they’ll have some of the best fans in the country behind them. “The Club arranged a similar sea of blue for a massive away game at Nottingham Forest last season and it was a day nobody will ever forget. Hopefully we’ll experience something similar at Burnley between the top two sides in the league.†Recalling last season’s famous win in front of the travelling Blue Army at Nottingham Forest, City’s Liam Moore said: “We had 2,000 fans at Forest, and they made a hell of a difference. It was an unreal experience.†A limited amount of away tickets for City’s trip to Burnley are available on general sale priced at £28 for Adults, £17 for Seniors/Under-22s and £8 for Under-18s. Tickets are available to purchase from the City Fanstore ahead of the Yeovil Town game (except during the one hour prior to kick-off) and immediately after the final whistle. Coach places with Fox Travel are still available, priced as follows: Season Ticket Holders Adults: £20 Under-18s/Seniors: £18 Non Season Ticket Holders Adults: £22 Under-18s/Seniors: £20 Click HERE for further ticket information. Complimentary pre-match breakfast will be served to match ticket holders only between 7am and 9am in the Walkers Hall at King Power Stadium. T-shirts will be issued to match ticket holders at Turf Moor. Match tickets and Fox Travel places can be booked online at www.lcfcdirect.com, from the City Sales Centre on 0844 815 5000 or from the City Fanstore at King Power Stadium. harpendenfox Posted 25 March 2014 Share Posted 25 March 2014 Cricketing foxes might like to doff their cap to recognise that when they park at Burnley Cricket Ground, as I intend to do, they are at the ground where Jimmy Anderson learnt his trade. Little bit of sporting geekery for you all there
LCFC Rennie Posted 25 March 2014 Share Posted 25 March 2014 Great gesture from the club to do the free shirts and breakfast. Shows that we're not just a number and they actually care, this a rarity now.

Leicester1884Filbert Posted 26 March 2014 Share Posted 26 March 2014 reckon this is just as big as Forest away last season, if we win we open up a 6 points gap with a game in hand, if they win its level on points, current goal difference is 33, 35 as well so if they win by 2 goals we will go second.
