Let's be honest now....we don't watch them regularly, and they don't watch us regularly. They're boring to watch so why would we?! So therefore, any comments their fans make are invalid. We'll stay up next year, I'm confident of that!

Posted

They really are up there with the thickest group of fans in the country.

Not only have they obviously not watched our games, they don't even watch their own games. Like the one at our ground earlier in the season where they got a smash and grab in a match they barely strung 3 passes together.

Besides, you'd think theyd have got used to being in our shadow over the last 15 years. Deal with it, chumps.

Oh and, bye.

Given that I got stick earlier for suggesting that if we and Derby both went up we could join up for a bit of teasing, surely this reaction from their resident knuckle-draggers vindicates me somewhat.

I mean they might be enamoured with their wooly friends after all, but I've yet to see a Derby fan call us "cheating paki bastards."

Horrible city, horrible manager, horrible fans. Hope they crash and burn.

I'm loving the fact that both us and Derby are above them, they must be hating it...

forest still living on past glory's and cannot seem to get out of the late 70s early 80s. .not won ****all since 95 apart from the brian clough cup. there fans are deluded and racist and need a reality check

Gonna be nostalgic for ya, boys.  You gave us a right good send off tonight.  Maybe we'll see you again in a few years.  We'll think about you once in a while, about as much as we think about, say, Peterborough.

Someone on there thinks we've constructed a team of hoofers at great expense to get out of the division lol

Two small attackers up top should be enough to dispell such a myth. It is our pace, midfielder of drinky and James that is winning us games, no hoofing lol oh they are so so bitter, this is a great night to be reading their forum...

Im really disappointed that big Nige decided to create a team that gets promotion by romping the league as champiins, rather than impressing some Forest lads on a one off game. Pearson out!!!

Having lived in Nottingham for 15 years and having many Forest friends. the hate they possess for us is quite incredible. The "we dont care" thing is only made funnier on nights like this

who would you pick out of Leicesters team as a direct replacement for a Forest player, its not a subject to me that requires too much tought, next who out of that Leicester side tonight need replacing when they are promoted, a huge reconstruction job is required, compare that to Forest and I think you would feel comfortable with at least half a dozen able to take the step up

So, forest think we're shit.

In that case I love being shit. I hope we remain a lucky shit side, with shit players forever and ever.

Interesting considering Youngy compared the two teams in his post match analysis and stated that when looking at the 2 benches he wouldn't swap any of the Leicester subs for a single player in the Forest subs and he is an ex pro who knows what he is talking about, that Forest team got away with it tonight, basically our 10 men were stronger than their 11

After reading a few of their opinions, its amazing what a bunch of thickos they are.

Now I wasnt at the game tonight but saying 'we dominated leicester', 'leicester are sh*t', 'we only lost because we gifted them the goals', 'if they go up they would need to over haul everyone of thier squad, as with us most would make the step up', 'leicester is a sh*t city', 'we dont care about leicester we just want anal sex with derby' blah blah..

Where do I start with all that rubbish!

Firstly, judging from the reports, we should of even gone on and won it at the end(with 10 men away from home) for me that shows how good we are as its proved in the CL this week how 10 vs 11 makes a huge difference when teams are well matched..Id like to hear peoples views who were at the game, who should of won, who were the better team tonight etc etc but from highlights/reports, seems we were better?

Next, were sh*t? 10 clear at the top of the league? makes them look like they all have head injuries lol..If were sh*t what are they? embaressing, yep.

Only lost because they gifted us goals..Wes basically gave them a crucial goal, and they score a flukey header from a set piece..yep they totally opened us up..pfft.

The next point about squads, Our squad is better and more equipped, we have a strong spine and a manager 50X better than their little knob head of a manager. He has a good prem record though does Billy, hopefully he can improve this time should they get lucky through the playoffs.

Also the fact our squad has plenty of young talent, that could flourish in the prem being untested, the likes of Drinky, James, Knocky, Mayrez, Vardy, Moore do I need go on? They have premiership failures, such as Ried and Halford who are past thier bests and will never be anything more. Cox and Mackie proven to not be good enough. literally only Hobbs I could see from thier team as having a shot at the Prem, due to his upbringing at Liverpool.

Leicester is a sh*thole is hilerious considering its from a Nottingham resident..that city is discusting..Id expect London, Bristol, Brighton to think that but really Nottingham? haha.

Finally this anal loving with Derby and to actually think we give a toss is pathetic. Some Leicester fans maybe do wish the rivalry was more fiery, but alot of us dont actually give 1 bit of notice to Forest and dont want a rivalry. Forest are just important if a threat to us(same way Burnley are this season)..When Forest were struggling with relegation for example I wouldnt even look if they win lose or draw, they are insignificant to me.

Having some love/hate with Derby is fine, but to think most of us really care is hopeful on their part.

Our manager is not 50x better. He has never achieved promotion to the premiership whereas Billy has, so to date if anyone is better it is Billy. That said, I would rather have Nige and im sure so would the majority of City fans.

Nottingham is probably a nicer city than Leicester, if im being honest. Thats just opinion though.

The vast majority of Leicester fans consider Forest our main rival. The vast majority of Forest fans consider Derby their main rival. I don't really care about that fact and neither do you but to claim we only care about them when they are a threat (like Burnley) is not correct in my opinion. I for example, was pleased when Yeovil defeated them in the league one playoffs when we were in the championship.

Their a bunch of hypocritical nobheads and have been on a number of occasions. Without a doubt the most ridiculous fanbase in the country.

Nottingham is a nicer city than Leicester is an opinion but really its an utter sh*thole and even though Im not saying Leicester is like some amazing city, its much of a muchness and a stupid immature thing to say.

Nige is a better manager than Billy. If we compare on stats and win ratio its clear who wipes whoes a**. I tend to go away from that and looks at facts. Literally hes done nothing but get Derby up to the prem and what a poor joke that was. he failed twice at getting them through the playoffs, even the most negative fans have a go at Nige for 'failing' twice in the playoffs(1 being from a team in turmoil and a rut until he got his hands into them).

Time will tell IF(is it really a big IF) we go up this year, if Nige can do better than Billy but lets face it, can he do much worse? Hes head and shoulders above Davies as a manager.

I wouldnt disagree that alot of Leicester fans want some rival and will see Forest as them. For me and probably alot more(well the ones I know anyway) they really dont care about Forest, they are literally just one of any other team.

As you say Yeovil beat them and it didnt effect us at all, for me I didnt really care what so ever about that...all I care about is Us and whatever benefits us. For example I kinda hope they beat Burnley at the weekend because it eases the pressure a bit.

My point was that not all Leicester fans care like they seem to think we do..

Living in Nottingham i can confirm i'd much rather go back to Leicester. And will do so when i leave Uni. Hate the place. Hate the arrogance of their deluded supporters. I hate Forest a hell of alot more than any sheep fan could. So pleased tonight.

On this tired old point of the rivalry. Forest will always be the big game to me. And Leicester is a big game (nearly as big as Derby) to most, if not all of the Forest fans i know personally.

They are just a very deluded set of fans with alot of arrogance and nights like tonight make it all that much sweeter :)

Having lived and worked in Derby, Nottingham and Leicester, I can safely say that neither Derby or Forest give a shit about us. Having said that, they hate us as much as they do each other. (Make of that what you will) maybe its that Both clubs slightly look down their noses cuz once upon a forgotten generation they won the old first division, and forest won a pot in Europe a couple of times.

As for our city being a shite hole...yes, it has its issues, but no worse than Nottingham. I will give Derby their due, they love their footy and all the kids wear derby shirts. The people there are OK and not as up them selves as forest, that's for sure.

All together now ...we hate Nottingham...

As for the game at times Forest were a delight and fester were shown up just how limited they are as a side. The downside once more being unable to hold a lead. Festers goals were both gifts.

But looking at Forest tonight, for once I feel comfortable that we are moving in the right direction. I don't even feel like spitting my dummy out, because Forest during several spells were an absolute pleasure to watch."

Nige is not 50 times a better manager than Billy Davies, but he's easily 50 times a better bloke.
